Question about EMS

As we All know in order to get EMS u need ur siblings eyes...
U remove ur eyes and put his/her eyes... but what will happan if siblings just exchange their eyes? For example what would have happan if Itachi and Sasuke do so.... Itachi got sasuke's eyes, Sasuke got Itachi's.... would both of them get EMS? Would it work this way? Any thoughts?

If itachi implanted sasuke's eyes ,he would gain EMS .fact and logic ..............(2)
From (1) and (2) , yes if they exchanged thier eyes ,both would gain EMS .

I believe when it's stated that the eyes fuse, the chakra between the two users are fused. So Itachi's chakra within his eye fused with the chakra from Sasuke's body, creating a new eye that encompassed both users chakra. So I would say that both siblings get EMS, whether they do the same thing is unknown.

To gain EMS, you don't "replace" your eyes with your siblings eyes. You implant those eyes on your own eyes and they fuse together to create EMS.
