Question about Edo Tensi.

Okay so i was going through some old naruto manga and realized something. Minato the Fourth Hokage was trapped inside the belly of Death God when he sealed Kyubi. So how come Orochimaru was about to summon 4th hokage which was stopped by the thrid hokage? if third hokage hadn't stopped him, Orochimaru would have summoned him as well along with the 1st and 2nd hokage? There might be a way to summon sealed soul as well which only Orochimaru knew. What you guys say about this?

Kabuto said later in the manga that the third was Minato and that it failed because Minato was sealed, he said that when he was explaining edo tensei to Obito before the war began. It was not Hiruzen that stopped it, its either a mistake on the path of Hiruzen or on the path of Kishi

Either way Hiruzen knew how to stop it. That would explain a lot anyway, as Tobirama was his teacher

He wasn't stopped by Hiruzen, but it stopped it self because Minato's soul was sealed in the belly of Death Ripper God.

Adding to this, if what Kabuto said is true, Orochimaru wouldn't have succeeded in ritual itself.
So, yeah, Kishi didn't think that the plot will change at that time..

Another plot hole is when Hiruzen died he remembered his teachers (Hashi and Tobirama) telling him that from tomorrow, he would be Hokage. Yet, in Part 2, Danzo remembered a different story. In the first story, he looked younger than 12 but in the second he looked in his teenager years, probably 16. But I agree

that's not a plot hole either
hashi was telling him what a hokage is when he was 12ish
it was tobirama who made him hokage and he said the same thing but different translation

It might be a plot hole or there might be a way to summon someone from the belly of Death God which only knew by Orochimaru and 2nd hokage. There is a slight chance that naruto will learn this jutsu and free his father and other hokages from the eternal suffering.

No if u actually looked at the anime u will realise he never said it was the 4th... he just said 3 meaning in that coffin it could have been madara... coz hiruzen did stop the coffin...

Could be true that it was someone else not 4th hokage.. but it can't be Madra.. because Kabuto was the one who got the DNA of madara.

Obviously Hiruzen didn't know much about the reanimation jutsu. You seriously think a couple of shuriken hitting the front of the coffin would stop it from being summoned? As you can see in the manga and in the anime the coffin begins to rise and then struggles, being pulled back down, failing to reanimate because of his soul being already sealed.
