Question about Edo Tensei

Is it possible to get out of the summon? For example, can the summoner lose control of the host and can the host somehow come back and be identified as alive? I'm kind of lost in the skill so a little clarification can help me. This also leads me to wonder how strong Kabuto really is since SilverSlick and others made me realize that he is actually a worthwile antagonist that should not be looked down on. Is he really worth putting #1 or 2? Thanks everyone

this is how strong kabuto is, he can control madara, but the fact that he was being annoyed by itachi and sasuke he didnt had the chance to control him perfectly not to mention there still lot's of edo's that was still alive that time, that's how strong he was. just imagine if he just concentrate to madara he could defeat them all without swet.

The zombie could not make him/herself come back as "alive". Madara freed himself from Kabuto's control but he is still considered "dead". He needs Rinne Tensei (I think thats the name) to be considered "alive" again, and he can't use that jutsu on himself.

Im not entirely sure what it is your asking, but what im getting is that your asking is en Edo zombie can break free from the caster and move about independently. The answer to that is obviously yes. A summon can break free, but only if they know how. Itachi used a powerful genjutsu, and Madara knew the hand seals for unbinding the soul to the caster. They're still "dead" and its unclear at the moment if they still regenerate and have a crap load of chakra reserves, but they have whatever the Edo body had.

I don't think so. Edo Tensei relies entirely on the other ninja's skill and not Kabuto's. If the list is about that shinobi's abilities alone, using edo tensei should not count.

Kabuto is strong dnt get me wrong but without Edo tensi he's as strong over itachi minato maybe third raikage (all who should be in top ten but on bottom)

The main reasons why kabuto was able to control so many edos at once was one because he had infinite sage chakra due to absorbing jugo powers 2 because he was sedentary meaning he wasn't doing shit but concentrating and 3 because he gave majority of the edos free will to let them use they're abilities more efficiently cuz I hostelry doubt he could do all those moves for each Edo without messing up.. He only took away free will around end of battles tbh

edo tensei cannot be counted in kabuto's or anyone's arsenal for that matter, simply because it requires living sacrifices to perform it....
when u are in a battle, doesnt matter 1 on 1 or in group, you cant just sit there, & make preparations for the edo tensei.....he'll get killed before he can perform it....

everything Kabuto has done up til now has been through calculation and preperation. minato's ftg shouldn't count because incase he forgot kunai? or has to physically touch something before he can "flash" there.

i think edo is part of kabuto's arsenal because of how/who he is.

You can, but it doesnt really make sense because madara will still break out of edo regardless.
