Question about Clans

I was just wondering if a major clan member marries another major clan member, which compound would they stay in? For example if A Nara member marries A Inuzuka clan member of if a Uchiha marries a Hyuga, The clans have separate compounds so where would they stay?

Traditional Japanese culture would dictate that the woman goes with the man. Which also seems tobe the case in Naruto, seeing as how all the dads in the show are clan heads, and the moms stay there.

I don't think it's super relevant, though.

I think they just marry within their clans to keep the bloodline pure, they don't mingle with other clans during that era.

In the Rock Lee spinoff, Neji was speculating that Naruto would become Naruto Hyuuga because of Hinata's position in the clan. That doesn't mean that's how it would be. When you're paranoid, you imagine all kinds of things.
