hi NB!
i live in norway and most of our pets is pretty boring, we can have exotic birds like parrots
we can have rodents from countries i can't pronounce
we have general almost all dograces and cats in many varietys (except big ones)

You must be registered for see images

so since most of my friends want dogs im almost doomed to have a dog (because of convenient size)
a cat is too little plus you cant take it for a walk on a leash..
so i got the crazy idea of getting a lynx/bobcat or a serval! these are almost the same size as the average german shepherd.

but in norway we have very strict pet policies and i dont know anything if there is even legal to buy one.
let alone being allowed to take it for a walk

i have and allways will be a cat person, but i think its too boring with a regular housecat
and i like to take our familydog for walks so why not?

what are the pro's what are the con's? as long as you have domesticated a wild animal from being a kitten
to adult it shouldnt be anything wrong about having a lynx as a pet would it?
i know some of the captive lynxes can prank you or destroy stuff etc. but considering i dont have kids
and have a nice home and a good income it shouldnt be hard to keep a lynx
they eat pretty much the same amount as a dog

exept they need something extra in their diet that is in cat food (cant come up with the name for it)

anyone out here at narutobase have any experience in lynxes or servals?

i would deeply appreciate any advice!

and if anyone from norway/sweden/denmark/russia is reading this
and know of a breeder please tell me!

and if anyone know the regulations i would appreciate some knowledge

any answer will be appreciated!
