So as you know, Naruto's name is naruto and Sasuke is sasuke or Gohan is gohan. So on

In japanese they have the same name, like in the anime, they still say Naruto,Sasuke,Gohan etc.

So I'm kind of confused. Naruto is this (in japanese):

So in Japan, would their names be Rice and other things?

That would make anime really dumb there.... Kind of confusing, you may need to read slowly

Japanese kind of varies... Kanji and Romaji tend to translate at different intervals when coming in contact with English.
