Question about Akatsuki

The true founder of Akatsuki is Obito right? Right! The organisation started with the members Nagato and co. ...
But we know that Yahiko did not agree with Obito where Obito first asked them to work together with him.
Than the incident with Yahiko happened, where he dies and Nagato goes berserk, and that was probably the point where he went to Obito and joined him.

Now to my question, here -

8:20 - Obito says: I was the one who encouraged Yahiko to establish Akatsuki. But I thought that Yahiko had to die so that Obito can create Akatsuki (and that somehow he was able to bring the Death of Yahiko)

Did he mean that he encouraged Nagato to establish Akatsuki and not Yahiko? Is it a fail of the translation? And if it's true that he could TNJ Yahiko to create Akatsuki, how did he manage it? :/

Anyone that can clear that up please?

I wouldn't think its a failed translation. I really don't know but I believe he eventually did talk yahiko into forming akatsuki and attack hanzo so he could set up yahiko dying to motivate and manipulate Nagato into joining him. He knew about hanzo because he had a mole in root that told him of hanzo's alliance with danzo.

Akatsuki was sort of a gang before Obito came along. I think Obito motivated Nagato to form the modern day Akatsuki.

The organization was established before Obito arrived. Their goal/motivation was completely different than, which is yet Obito was denied.

Like everyone else said, Yahiko started akatsuki and secretly made Nagato the leader.

Obito came along and tried to convince them to follow his way, but yahiko disapproved.

After Yahiko's death, Obito took control....
