All award shows are biased
@bold: They may be to you but that isn't the point lol. A lot of people recognized her album as one of the best her critics, her fans, and reviewers.
No I'm actually not saying just to me (tho I do enjoy those more), I take into consideration concept, lyrics, flow, skills, reviews, underground respect, production, effort, and most importantly, impact.
Another point is, just like you said that I consider those albums better, you even mentioned "her" people considered it better. Well of course fans are going to consider her the best. When it comes to critics, not as much however,

Run the Jewels 2, which in my opinion was one of the best rap albums of this decade, that came in 2014,

So when it comes to actual critics, the pinkprint was rather poor compared to the others, it had a lot of views, and acclaim, but that is as I said before, a lot of promotion, and famous people backing it up, plus features on the album that attracts many different people, of course it will get more air time.
And I've seen enough online reviews to come to the conclusion it wasn't that good of an album. Her album might be one of the best, for her own discography, but for hip-hop itself? Nah, tho, It seems like it did well in the mainstream market, that is all that matters to her. I doubt she drops albums to create concepts, more like she wants to create singles to sell. She is a good musician, sort of like Drake. But a Hip-Hop album, and artists, so many variables are taken into place that I just don't see it matching up.
Opinions are opinions tho, keep repping ^^ Noni out
