que est ce que ca veut dire?

i am watching some anime series in french to improve my listening, and i keep hearing this word "desarmé" and i don´t know what that means, anybody knows what that means? last time i heard it was in this context "nous somes desarmé sole" , so can anyone tell me what that word means.
Also can you recommend me any anime series in french i´ve already watch naruto, drago ball, death notek, monster and hunter x hunter in french but it´s always good to watch new stuff.
