Quite possible; however, teleporting a human being is what's theoretically impossible. Since you're destroying the person's data - DNA, cells, protons in process of reconstructing their data once again. And you know that would be death.

The idea of teleportation is more of fictional term for Quantum Teleportation.

Teleportation, or Teletransportation, is the theoretical transfer of matter or energy from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them. It is a common subject of science fiction literature, film, and television.

You're not supposed to take it too literal.
