Quality of my Avatars

Why does the quality decrease when I put a border on my Ava's?

Without Border:

You must be registered for see images

With Border:

You must be registered for see images

I don't know if you guys see the difference, but at least when I set it as my Avatar the Quality looks like trash.

I know, you can't see the difference now, but when I use it as my Avy you can see it, but I'm too lazy to do that.
