Actually it does. His plan was always to bring her back, even when he was older. If a grown man's goal was to revive a young girl he was in love with, that indeed makes him a pedo. Its not as if he could age her appropriately. Kishi saved his character though by letting him meet back with Rin as a boy rather than an adult.

As for Obito's sins OP, its simply that Kishi required Obito's abilities to help the allies have a chance against Kaguya. Since his abilities served as a plot device to help defeat her, his redemption and Naruto's acceptance of him were inevitable.

Hebi Sasuke, the character of your namesake also killed several Samurai who were just doing their job when he could have easily taken them down without murder. Now as for Obito, he was conditioned this way. Guy was crushed, lost the one person that believed in him, has half of his body injected with the Yin material to amplify his negative emotions, was brainwashed by Madara, and to top it off had his heart cursed seal. I'd say all that would leave someone pretty messed up and quality more as a insane person that needs psychological support rather than death. Hell in the real world there have been people who killed who ended up in an assylum rather than in jail.

Also you can't just say you are sorry, but you have to have actual regret like Obito did. I doubt any reasoning will get to you since you're a rather cold person.
