Euhm no, actually cats are more independent, because you don't have to take them out for a walk, like you have to do with dogs. Plus cats have a certain kind of grace and charm around them.

dogs aren't more independent than cats. cats can't be tamed, if they are left in the streets they can hunt birds, mice, etc. dogs can't. and cats are nocturnal animals so they are only most active at night.

I agree with you. Except that one of my cats is actually active in the day and sleeps in our bed during the night ... Then again, this is the same cat who has once picked up a knife and walked with it to the front door ...

Reason for walking dogs is to exercise them and you see more dog alone then cats.....:scorps: And reason for Egyptians worshiping cats is simple they are stupid duh........and back then they believed anything you told them Like if I went to Egypt back then and said I'm the god of sand they would worship me too don't be ridiculous.....:scorps:

Euhm no, you see more cats alone than dogs, because cats are solitary creatures unlike dogs.
And of course the Egyptians were so stupid that they managed to build their pyramids on the same line as certain stars. And they were so stupid they knew a lot about astronomy.

I'm just going to come out and say it ALL CATS DESERVE TO DIE....why else do you think all dogs go to heaven and cats are always part of a superstition or have something to do with hell they are evil!!!!!! And p.s. that cat that came to your door with a knife it was going to kill you because it was possessed or was a demon in disguise also chances are it studies you while you sleep and frame it to seem like you killed yourself.....it would've been the perfect crime!!!!:scorps::scorps:
Also so what if they looked up at the stars every now and again that doesn't matter plus the guy who came up with alligning the stars with the pyramids was probably high and was inspired from it one dday when near death from to much whatever they used probably cat poop......PWNED again!!

Well actually the reason why cats were considered evil during some times in history was because they were mysterious, and because their eyes glow in the dark, which didn't make any sense to people during those times. Of course those times were also the times of the witch and werewolf hunt ...
And I doubt they would be able to allign their pyramids perfectly if they only looked at the stars now and then. U_U
The reason why they worshipped cats is because according to a legend: they once saw a cat murder a poisonous snake. The cat didn't die during the fight, while the snake did die, so the Old Egyptians concluded from that, that cats were something sent by the gods or something like that. Either way, by killing that snake, the Old Egyptians thought it would be wise to worship the cat.

I like cats and dogs, but I would have to go with cats. My experience they normaly snuggle with you more then dogs do.
