Walking through the desert, the man in the black cloak approached the young red-headed boy. The man, hunch-backed, did not hide the long iron tail, for he did not find it necessary to. With his tail swaying back and forth menacingly, the man stopped just shy of the boy and began to speak.
Hello, young one. You wish to learn the secrets of Puppetry? We must first begin with the basis and theory, then. First, you must tell me what puppetry is to a puppeteer shinobi. How they use it, what its limits are, what it is good and bad for, everything else regarding puppetry you can think of. Tell me everything, and I shall judge if you are ready to begin.

Well puppetry is a style of fighting used by sunagakure shinobi they have their own section known as the puppet brigade. These shinobi attach chakra threads to what ever it is they want to manipulate and by the use of chakra make it do thier bidding. A few weak things about puppeteers is that the threads which they use to control thier puppets can be severed making them lose control of what they had thier threads attached to. Some more weaknesses are that puppeteers don't usefully like taijutsu because they would normally be using a puppet and most taijutsu moves are to fast. This is whys some shinobi use specialized puppets like (I believe it's huriko) sasori uses to give them better protection and mobility.

That was good, young one... Now, to begin with, I shall introduce you to basic puppets which you will be learning with.
Pulling out a scroll, Sasori summoned three puppets before himself.

(Karasu) Crow

Description: Crow is the very first puppet we see in the series. It was created by Sasori, but is later used by Kankurou. Crow is a three eyed, four armed humanoid. Crow is one of the more basic puppets, but he is able to detach any of its body parts for deadly attacks, almost every joint having a blade at the end, allowing Crow to shoot his arms towards the opponent, and then have them return back to it. Even his head has a blade that can be extended out from the bottom of its neck when detached. This ability made it and Black Ant a very deadly combination. It also has the ability, like most puppets do, to release poison-tipped darts and smokescreens, which sometimes have poisonous gas mixed with them.

(Kuroari) Black Ant

Description: Black Ant, created by Sasori, is a puppet that is often used in conjunction with Crow and, later on, Salamander. It has a bucket-shaped face with two red horns and a total of six arms. It, like Crow, has three eyes. Its body resembles a very large barrel, and it is hollow on the inside, making its main use to be that of trapping, while weapons enter the many slots on its body. At any time, Black Ant can literally open its stomach, and trap an opponent, able to extend the two halves of its stomach so that it stretches out and over the opponent from a very fair distance (approximately mid range) and then retracts the stomach back to its original form, closing it with the opponent inside. Its arm segments contain hidden saw-blades. Like Crow, Black Ant can detach its arms for attacks.

(Sanshōuo) Salamander

Description: Salamander is a defensive puppet, though not on the level of defense as that of Hiruko. Salamander, as its name suggests, is built in the form of a large salamander, being one of the largest puppets seen thus far, and though it is not more powerful defensively than Hiruko, it is larger than the other puppet. Salamander is able to rise up a large area on its back to be used as a shield, making a black shield over its head. It, like some other puppets, is hollow, and it can open its back at any time and then rise up its large tail over its head, stretching it out and therefore allowing the puppet user to jump inside of it for protection. Salamander can also spew out fire equal to C rank. Salamander can only be destroyed by one who knows its weak spots, being a weak joint on its side that holds the shield in place and afterwards simply striking it on its back, or by a move of A rank or higher.

They should be at least somewhat familiar... The first thing I will need you to do is concentrate your chakra to your fingertips... After focusing your chakra into the tips of your fingers, to a high degree, I want you to use your shape manipulation to turn your chakra into thin threads, manifesting it into a physical state which extends beyond your body. From there, I want you to control your chakra threads and move them outwards, through the air, or crawling along the ground since this is your first time, and cause them to latch onto one of the three puppets. From there, I shall teach you the art of Puppetry, based upon the puppet you choose.

Sasori cleared his mind and took in a deep breath. Sasori then began to concentrate his chakra into the bases of his finger tips. He then using shape manipulation made ultra thin wires of chakra. He tried to make the threads travel through the air but he wasn't yet proficient enough for that so the threads crept across the ground towards the puppet know as black ant. The threads then attached to the puppet in all the necessisairy parts and he took control of the puppet. To let his sensei know it was a success he made all of the puppets hands wave at his sensei.

Excellent; so you have chosen Black Ant. How interesting. Now, this technique is quite basic; it's uses and drawbacks are inherently tied to the puppet you choose. However, with the technique itself, there are a couple things that can allow you to use it creatively, and at least one major drawback with the jutsu itself. Could you please describe for me any creative ways to use this technique, as well as any major drawbacks you can think of?
