Uzumaki, huh... well, I'll just teach you the non-Sasori techniques, then. You'll still "complete" puppetry at the end, though :)

These ones are pretty self-explanatory.

(Senbon Ame) - Endless Rain of Senbon
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The puppet will open its mouth wide, unleashing a torrent of senbon. All of the senbon are poison-tipped, meaning that a single hit by one could be deadly. These senbon can shower the opponent for as long as the user wishes.

This one's one of the better C-rank techniques. Just remember that as long as you maintain it, you can't perform any other jutsus with that puppet. HOWEVER... that doesn't mean you can't have another puppet perform another jutsu simultaneously ;)

(Doku Kemuri) -Poison Smokescreen
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The puppet will open its mouth and shoot out smoke balls that are imbued with poison as well. This can be used to obscure the enemy’s vision and to spread poisonous gas in the area at the same time.

This one's awesome too... we puppeteers get access to poison even without medical training. The gas should still be able to be seen or sensed through, but the gas can cause eye irritation, potentially harming dojutsu users.

Any questions or insights on either?

Ok that one is cool, and how big is the torrent of needles? Also, when puppets are using techniques can they still use their ff abilities? For example, if the puppet had an explosive kunai shooter in its arm could they use it while using this attack?

I really like the second one as well. Great range and this can be really helpful when using more than one puppet against an opponent. Now that you mentioned that we puppeteers have access to poisons due to our field, are we able to use the poison techniques too >_>

To answer your questions, the torrent of senbon releases in an arc in front of you, like 120 degrees (similar to that one Chidori variant technique). And no, you cannot perform more than one jutsu with one puppet at a time, but if you had two puppets on the field like I said, one could use the senbons and the other the explosive kunai launchers.

Hmmm... before we continue, I just realized. Is your Uzumaki bio of Suna origin? o_o"

No, why? Do I need that to learn puppetry?

I thought since it is an overall Uzumaki bio with a puppetry ability then it would be ok since the bio would have to fit its clan rules.

Well... because if your Uzumaki bio isn't from Suna, I can't teach you Suna-based techs ;_;

This means we're done because I've taught you all the absolutely basic jutsus.

I will get back to you on this, though U_U

I had two questions about the general use of puppets.

1. In respects to controlling the puppet and the user performing moves, I know that puppets require the user to constantly stream chakra in order to use, so what exactly happens once you stop fueling chakra to do something else while they are in the midst of moving or performing a technique? Could I for example make a puppet release a stream of smoke and then use wind blade while it does that, or would the puppet just stop the technique and drop to the ground?

2. I know the rules state that one's character cannot dodge moves ff but what about the puppets which are a technique themselves. Within reason, is it ok to dodge techniques ff with a puppet? For example an oncoming chidori spear aimed at your puppet that is mid.range away and I send my puppet into the air to dodge it.

Great questions!

1. I believe the puppet would stop when you mold chakra for another jutsu, from my experience. HOWEVER, this can be alleviated by CJs that work around that. I have a puppet that casts elemental ninjutsu and acts as a medium for it ;)

2. This is a smart inquiry. Treat puppets like weapons. I'm under the impression that you'll always need to counter a jutsu with a jutsu, so I think freeform dodging with puppets may not be possible. However, the beauty of puppetry is that by focusing your attacks on your puppets, the opponent doesn't note YOU or OTHER PUPPETS. Puppetry is severely underutilized for its ability to control the battlefield ^^
