The puppetry technique is a special ninjutsu that allows the user to use chakra threads to control puppets. Various number of threads can be used to control puppets based on the skill of the user.

Description: Crow is the very first puppet we see in the series. It was created by Sasori, but is later used by Kankurou. Crow is a three eyed, four armed humanoid. Crow is one of the more basic puppets, but he is able to detach any of its body parts for deadly attacks, almost every joint having a blade at the end, allowing Crow to shoot his arms towards the opponent, and then have them return back to it. Even his head has a blade that can be extended out from the bottom of its neck when detached. This ability made it and Black Ant a very deadly combination. It also has the ability, like most puppets do, to release poison-tipped darts and smokescreens, which sometimes have poisonous gas mixed with them.

Description: Salamander is a defensive puppet, though not on the level of defense as that of Hiruko. Salamander, as its name suggests, is built in the form of a large salamander, being one of the largest puppets seen thus far, and though it is not more powerful defensively than Hiruko, it is larger than the other puppet. Salamander is able to rise up a large area on its back to be used as a shield, making a black shield over its head. It, like some other puppets, is hollow, and it can open its back at any time and then rise up its large tail over its head, stretching it out and therefore allowing the puppet user to jump inside of it for protection. You Doing the jutsu: To start the jutsu, i start to focus on my chakra system and chakra flow i then proceed further to channel my raw chakra into the tips of my fingers and shape manipulate the raw chakra at my finger tips into small threads of chakra which i release from my fingers to attach to the puppets and allowing me to control the puppets with the aid of the chakra threads.

Yes you do and state which puppets you are using off the bat or else you will have to summon them and waste a jutsu spot. You could do waht Kankuro did in the first part and have your puppet wrapped around and carry it on your back

Have Crow detach its head as my clone is approaching and have the head project a spike from its mouth and stab my clone. Make sure to use this jutsu at the right time or else the opponent can destroy Crow's head and than your puppet is destroyed pretty much

Description: The puppets arm will pop out in four different directions in almost an umbrella-like manner. The arm segments will surround the puppets hand, and from those segments, chakra will emit, each one making one fourth of an entire circle, making a shield of pure chakra.
Use your puppet and have its arm pot out in 4 different directions like an umbrella and use your chakra to have chakra emit from those 4 sections making a shield of pure chakra to protect you from ninja tools.

- The jutsu can be used as a surprise attack since the target won't be expecting a spike to project out of the mouth of the puppet's head.
Weak points
- The jutsu has to be performed at the exact right time to make sure it is effective.
- If the head is destroyed, it makes the whole body of the crow puppet useless.
- The jutsu is hard to perfect since it requires great accuracy and timing to perform successfully.
Combinations-strategies: It can be basically used as a surprise attack or to finish off a weak target or even to stop the target from getting close to the user.
Ways to counter this technique: To counter this technique, the target must destroy the head before the head gets close maybe by shattering the head with a lightning bolt or by burning the head with a stream of fire.
You Doing the jutsu: Seeing the clone approach, i quickly start to focus on my chakra system and chakra flow then i proceed further by channeling my raw chakra into the crow puppet to detach the puppet's head at the clone. As the puppet's head gets close enough to the clone, i use my raw chakra in the puppet's head to make a spike project from the puppet's mouth to pierce through the clone thereby making the clone burst.

- The jutsus can be easily used to block normal ninja tools.
- It can also be used to block a normal taijutsu attack.
Weak points
- Due to the size and strength of the shield, it can only block weapon attacks and some taijutsu attacks. Making it a weak defense.
Combinations-strategies: I can use it to distract a target with the aim of attacking me with taijutsu while i attack him in his blind spot.
Ways to counter this technique: To counter this technique, you have to hit the technique with a powerful elemental ninjutsu that will shatter the shield.
You Doing the jutsu: To perform this jutsu, i start by focusing on my chakra system and chakra flow. I then proceeds further by channelling my raw chakra into the crow puppet and then concentrate the chakra into the puppet's arm, making the puppet's arm pop up into four segments in four different directions in an umbrella-like manner. I then release the raw chakra in the segments to make each segment form one-fourth of a circle and then join together to form a shield made of raw chakra from the puppet's arms.

Ways to counter this technique: To counter this technique, the target must destroy the head before the head gets close maybe by shattering the head with a lightning bolt or by burning the head with a stream of fire.
You Doing the jutsu: Seeing the clone approach, i quickly start to focus on my chakra system and chakra flow then i proceed further by channeling my raw chakra into the crow puppet to detach the puppet's head at the clone. As the puppet's head gets close enough to the clone, i use my raw chakra in the puppet's head to make a spike project from the puppet's mouth to pierce through the clone thereby making the clone burst.

- Due to the size and strength of the shield, it can only block weapon attacks and some taijutsu attacks. Making it a weak defense.
Combinations-strategies: I can use it to distract a target with the aim of attacking me with taijutsu while i attack him in his blind spot.

You Doing the jutsu: To perform this jutsu, i start by focusing on my chakra system and chakra flow. I then proceeds further by channelling my raw chakra into the crow puppet and then concentrate the chakra into the puppet's arm, making the puppet's arm pop up into four segments in four different directions in an umbrella-like manner. I then release the raw chakra in the segments to make each segment form one-fourth of a circle and then join together to form a shield made of raw chakra from the puppet's arms.

- The jutsu doesn't only pierce a target if successful but also poison the target.
- The jutsu can be continous thereby not allowing the target to make an attack.
