A puppet user (傀儡使い, kugutsutsukai; meaning "puppeteers") is a ninja that uses The Puppet Technique to fight. This technique is an unique ninjutsu fighting style that uses chakra threads to control puppets like marionettes. Any number of chakra threads can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill can use fewer strings per puppet. Both Chiyo and Sasori demonstrated the ability to control entire puppets perfectly using just one thread. While most puppeteers would normally be able to control ten puppets at most (one per finger), Sasori's self-modification allowed him to control up to one hundred puppets at a time. This technique has few weaknesses according to Shino Aburame's observations during his fight against Kankurō. The Puppet Technique is a long range style, meaning that the puppeteers are weak against close range fighters. Since most puppeteers use his or her hands to manipulate the puppets, if their hands are disabled, then the technique can be neutralized. And because the puppet's movements are based on the mechanisms that were installed inside, interfering with said mechanisms can stall the puppet entirely.

Restrictions:
  • Canon characters that're puppeteers in the manga/anime can use puppetry (Kankuro, Sasori, and Chiyo)
  • Custom and canon puppeteer bios can be made at all times (unless that specific character is tied by something else other than just puppetry. For , however, special rules apply.

  • Puppeteers may also possess one of the following: HA, KG, or an Adv. Element, in addition to one mode.

  • Requires 1,000 Kumi.

  • For combat usage, each puppeteer can only have up to four "puppets" out on the field, at any given time. Keep in mind that all the puppets listed in a jutsu count as "one" (e.g., Mother and Father count as one).. Of their four possible puppets, only two can be S-rank puppets. But, by opting to specialize in the field, it is possible to have up to six puppets out on the field. And up to three of them can be S-rank.
.- Due to his unique nature, all Sasori bios follow the latter, by default (not a primary specialty).

Puppeteer's Poison
Type:
Necrosis
Description and Effects: Puppet-users, such as Kankurō, can place poison inside their puppets so that they inject via hidden bladed weapons or through devices designed to release this gas. This poison is created to paralyze and ultimately kill opponents. Upon inhaling any poison mist or being cut by a puppeteer's weapons or puppets, the victim will be partially paralyzed after three turns. After six turns the victim is completely paralyzed and after seven turns, the victim dies from the poison. Puppeteer poison, due to being minimalistic in its nature, is as advanced as poisons created by medics and as such, both the effects triggered by inhalation and ingesting of it takes the same amount of time.

Symptoms are:
1: Difficulty breathing, loss of balance. Effects take place after 1 turn.
2: Dizzineess and mental disability. Your mind becomes hazed as do your senses. Vulnerability to Genjutsu ( requires +10 more chakra to expel them ), inability to perform 4 or more handseals or complex techniques. Diminished reactions and speed by half. Effects take place after 3 turns.
3: Loss of conscience: The target becomes near comatose, in a state of delirium and unable to Forbidden ranked attacks. Effects take place after 5 turns.
4: Fainting: After succumbing to the effects, the target faints and becomes unable to continue. Effects take place after 7 turns.
