Its activation speed is near instant. Not to mention itachi can control time in tsukiyomi meaning he has more than enough time to mentally rape garaa and cause a permanent trauma to that kid

Why are you triple posting? Anyhow Itachi low diffs. Tsukuyomi gg. It happens in an instant and by the time One Tail knows Gaara is in a genjutsu and does something, it would have been too late and the damage already done. There also isnt any proof 1 Tails will break Gaara out of the genjutsu. 2 perfect jins have been subdued by genjutsu. The Mizukage and Naruto in the canon movie The Last in which Sakura had to break him out.
