Genjutsu are attacks to an enemys mind using chakra. They can be activated by any of the 5 senses and make the enemy see and feel things that are not really hapening. Genjutsu also messes up the flow of chakra in an enemy, making it obvious to dojutsu users if someone is under genjutsu. Genjutsu is strong when used against taijutsu because you can not counter the genjutsu with taijutsu, but at the same token weak against ninjutsu because you can counter the genjutsu. However, in the cases where you need to make handsigns for a jutsu, the genjutsu could catch you during the time of you making handsigns, there fore making all of your handsigns not worth it and time wasted.

Training Style Information
Ok, I'm going to teach you in a very different way now. Basically I am going to post three techniques below. What I want you to do is look them up on narutowikia. Then for each technique I want you to write underneath it:
-How the technique is used.
-How it works
-Its strengths and weaknesses.
-Anything else you find is suitable.
Also post a picture if you can (note that some techniques may not have pictures because they are game techniques). Also note that not all of the techniques are findable on wiki; if so tell me and I will do my best to explain the technique. Also if you have any questions about anything then just post and I will answer any questions.
From time to time I may quiz you or ask you to produce a combo with your learnt techniques. If you are unsure about what I am asking you to post just look at this Post:
The reason I am teaching you like this is for these reasons:
-Your not just copying what I'm saying and we both don't get bored.
-All techniques for this specific element/art/style will be covered with detailed information which you can then come back to instead of looking around narutowikia.
-You may always post questions in your training thread (even if we have finished training) and I will try my best to answer them.
-Most techniques are pictured and detailed in order which may help you in your rping endeavours.
If you have any questions about this style of training or if you personally do not like this training then just VM or PM (or even just post on this thread) and I will try my best to accommodate you.
This style of training is currently experimental and your help and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Description: The user controls creates a false surrounding which can change the way an object or small area looks(if used double then its a layer of false surroundings not easy noticed by the enemy).

(Genjutsu: Kokohin) - Illusion Technique: False surrounding
~The user makes the enemy see something that is not actually there
~The user will insert their chakra into your brain through your eyes, making you see something that is not actually there, like a boulder
~Pros and Cons
The opponent will think the object is real
You can only double the layer and not triple it
You can only make one thing appear
Dojustsu and Kai can easily break through it since it is D rank
~I think this technique will hardly be used due to the simplicity and the ease of which you can break it with, compared to harder genjutsu
(Genjutsu: Kahen Tonsou) - Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Escape
~This jutsu would probably make the opponent halt their attack since you would no longer be their and attack some other place
~The user will insert their chakra into the opponents eyes and use their chakra to make it seem like they are escaping by turning into flower petals
~Pros and Cons
The opponent will think you have vanished
The opponent might stop their attack on that spot
You can sneak towards your opponent while they think you are gone
The user might use a wind jutsu, planning on attacking all of the flower petals and attacking you in the midst of it all
This can be easily pierced by dojutsu
This is a sight genjutsu so the opponent has to be looking into your eyes
(Genjutsu: Kasumi) - Illusion Technique: Servant
~The user will cast the genjutsu and then throw a paper bomb, making it seem like a servant trying to help when it is actually a bomb
~The user will use their chakra to make the user see somebody trying to help them when it is actually a kunai
~Pros and Cons
This is great for ambush attacks
This genjutsu cause damage to the opponent
The opponent might not have a servant
Easily broken by dojutsu and Kai
I could not find a picture so i just posted a picture of a servant

Description:A Genjutsu technique that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real,
the actual ninja is able to remain hidden and throw kunai and shuriken matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear
the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servants illusion body but not destroy it.
(Magen: Narakumi) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing

Description: Causes the enemy to see a whirlwind of leaves and a spinning world that puts the enemy to sleep for one turn.
(Genjutsu: Kasumi Juusha) - Illusion Technique: Mist Servant
~This technique is used in order to trick the opponent into thinking they are being attacked by thousands of un-killable clones
~The user will insert their chakra into the opponent's mind and hide while making it seem like they are being attacked by a mass crowd
~Pros and Cons
You are hidden
You are damaging the enemy physically and mentally
The area around the opponent does not move
Easily noticeable by those who are observant
Can be released easily
Dojutsu Users
Once they attack a clone they can tell that all of them are not real
I would have to say this jutsu would be badass if it was harder to notice and of higher rank, that is all
(Magen: Narakumi) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing
~This jutsu is used by making leaves spin around the opponent which then leave, making the opponent see a gruesome image, such as a vegan seeing cows being killed in front of them
~The user will enter chakra into the opponents mind and then make it seem like the leaves on the closest tree or ground are swirling around the opponent. Then the opponent will enter a harsh reality
~Pros and Cons
This is like a weaker version of tsukuyomi
The opponent will be asleep for a turn
The opponent will have no idea if the reality is true depending on what you make them see
If the illusion is to far out it will be easily noticed
The illusion can be pierced by dojutsu
Easily noticed by sensors
