So me and my band are going to start some really psychedelic shit soon, psychedelic rock that is. Anyone have any sounds, instruments, etc that would make it sound really trippy? Ya know pink floyd, revolution 9 style

Ahh yes of course! Good stuff. The singer plays keyboard so that'll do. I'm a huge fan of bells in the background. Maybe an elephant making some noise

Keyboard with many sound settings, so you can have both a piano sound and organ, along with other sounds that can make funky sound. Honestly, just seeing your post about favorite bands, I'd look up and see the instruments bands like Pink Floyd used in their albums. They have a LOT of trippy and crazy sounds going on in their albums.

But mainly I think of a keyboard and toy around with guitar pedals. Like Tame Impala, Kevin Parker uses lots of guitar pedals to get different sounds out of the guitar.
