I am looking for good new bands to listen to, similar to Pink floyd, Dream theater, Riverside, Porcupine tree,... Basically psychedelic/progressive rock bands.

I would appreciate your recommendations :)

Btw, Queens first two albums are pure prog music. Their first album might very well be my fav album of all time.

Queens rock for sure :), didnt know that the first two albums were pure prog music, thanks for the info:)

if you like doors you will definitely like this band
they were inspired by the doors and zeppelin, though their music is way more modern :)

The singing wasnt my cup of tea, but thanks for the suggestion, always appreciate them! :)

Design the Skyline aren't progressive. They just try to be experimental/mathcore but fail badly.

Only progressive rock yah?
King Crimson, ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), ELP (Emerson, Lake and Palmer), Yes, Genesis and Jethro Tull.

But general prog bands (some fuse it with other genres) would have to be Dream Theater, Coheed & Cambria, Opeth, Tool, Meshuggah, Fates Warning, Queensryche, Nevermore, Death (everything after Spiritual Healing), Cynic, Atheist, Nocturnus, Aghora, Watchtower etc.

Some of those are more tech than prog like Watchtower, Death etc.

More prog bands (again some mixed it with other genres):
Animals as Leaders, Chon, Scale the Summit, Intervals, Volumes, The Contortionist, Between the Buried and Me, Protest the Hero, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, The HAARP Machine, The Human Abstract, Skyharbor, Painted in Exile, Textures, Vildhjarta etc.
