PS4 w/ Monitor Issues.

I recently got a PS4, and I tried connecting it to my monitor (native 1080p) with an HDMI cable, the sound worked but the picture didn't show up. I tried resetting the PS4 by holding down the power button for a long time, resetting my monitor, switched through my inputs, and yes, my HDMI cable works. I even turned off the HDCP setting on my PS4 but still nothing. I tried to do the same with my PS3 a while back but that wouldn't even have any signal and I tried everything for that too. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?

I heard that a DVI-D to HDMI converter would work but would that have sound for my PS4?

Unplug the HDMI cord from the monitor, then plug it back in. This happened to me too, and I did that, now it works fine.
