PS4 vs Xbox one

I grew up with sony but I later switched to xbox 360 and I currently own an xbox one. I'm thinking of buying a PS4 but I want to hear your opinions. Which is the better console? And I want valid reasons as to why you chose your answer and nothing fanboy wise.

The closest thing to PC gaming I've done was play downloadable free PC games as a kid. But I prefer consoles because they have a semi nostalgic feel to them. Nothing beats inviting the homies over and plugging a console into the TV and chilling

True. Sony does have elite exclusives. Imo xbox has convenient software but I've never owned a PS4 to be able to compare them.

About software you're true ; Xbox one eats PS4 in software .... They don't have that much difference in graphics (at least now) and I enjoy both (Played AC unity , Call of Duty MW4 in both and can't say which one was better) ... The only question you must answer in your mind is this :
Do you like PS4's exclusives or X-one's exclusives + kinect ?

I've got the Xbox one and I liked the 360 a lot more. There's a lot of glitches with the one and it seems like they rushed it to market.

Comes down to exclusives mainly, I prefer sonys. Plus i hate the Xbox controllers, all of them, the PlayStations have always been more comfortable, that's personally my main reason lol

I'm not an expert, but Sony's console always was the more user-friendly one in my opinion. I also enjoy the design (not only the console itself, the menu as well) of any playstation a lot more than the designs that XBox had.

And in terms of Exclusive-games, Sony already won by a thousand miles anyway. I'm happy with Sony.

They both work the same. Neither outperforms the other it's just a matter of being a fanboy or which exclusives you're into.

I've got both so have a pretty unbiased opinion.

Xbox One feels like more of an entertainment system. The apps, friend feeds, etc... make it feel a lot more community based than the playstation and feels a bit more user friendly.

Whereas the Playstation is a gaming console. It still has a few apps, etc... But nowhere near as good as the xbox, as the main focus is soley based around playing games. The PS technically has better graphics, but nothing has really come out to push them to the max anyway, so you cant really notice any difference between the 2 when youre actually playing. But i prefer the PS exclusives.

It's completely pointless asking that question on a forum, as everyone will just give their biased opinion on whatever they have. In the long run it basically just comes down to "Which controller do you prefer to use?" & "Which exclusives do you want to play?". Simple as that.
