The latest PS4 news points to Sony showcasing over 40 new games for the system at this year's E3 conference.
The company's social media manager, Sid Schuman, wrote on the company's blog that those at E3 will get a first look at many hot titles for the console including, Beyond: Two Souls, Destiny, DriveClub, The Evil Within, Gran Turismo 6, Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, The Last of Us, Tearaway, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and many more.
Sony also plans on revealing more information about the actual PlayStation 4 gaming console during next month's E3.
Microsoft marketed its new Xbox One as an all-in-one entertainment system that encompasses gaming, movies, television and online communication between players. Sony's strategy for releasing the top console for this generation will be a bit more basic, according to the company's CEO Kaz Hirai.
"The most important thing we need to make sure we do, at least initially, is that we all agree and understand that the PS4 is a great video game console that appeals to gamers," said Hirai. "If we miss that part than I don't think we get the initial establishment of the console."
However, Sony still plans to implement other features in order to appease those looking for the all-in-one experience. But the company did not reveal how it will do this yet.
