The HDMI port on my playstation seems to have stopped working, is there anything that would cause it to stop working on the playstation or is it just busted, if it is, does anyone know how much it might cost to get it fixed?

First: Do you have Your TV on the Right Input? Sometimes i do that by mistake and Notice it after Frustrating myself.
Second: Perhaps somebody changed your settings? Go your Display settings to see if you have the Output with the HDMI and not AV cable.
3. See if the other end is connected to the TV
4. Take them out and blow air on them...Might be dirty. Put them Back, if that doesn't work then put the TV's end on the PS3 and PS3 on TV.
That's all i got. Try a Different Cable. Lol
Next time you start the PS3, hold teh power button until it beeps a second time. This resets the graphic/audio settings back to default.
Or, sometimes an HDMI port can become loose from its mainboard when the cable has been nudged a number of times. If it's just the cable, replace it with another one.
