PS3 has a walk around virtual world where you can control your character talk to others, dance, play bowling, arcade games etc. Xbox only has the character can't control him or anything.

And now the trump card live you have to pay for when ps3 is free.

Graphics are better, for a lot of the ps3 games. But occasionally there are those random multi console games that have better graphics, or even the same graphics quality, on xbox.
Even tho ps3 has the graphics, I would still choose xbox, I like the gameplay on it more. I also like the controller design more. But thats just me.
