i recently got the ylod on my PS3 so i bought another one and now i have another problem.... there are some stupid game that says i need to use a code in order to get my online pass and since i already used that code in the older ps3 i have no idea what to do... do you have any idea? using my ps3 older account is on the table the only problem is i dont remember it ( you see i got my ps3 six years ago) is there any idea i can get my ps3 old account without using my email and the details they ask me cause i really have no clue... help me as soon as you can ty

You'd need to have your old account and redownload the code onto the new PS3... if you don't remember your login info I'd suggest calling tech support. That's the only possible way without having to buy a new code. Sorry.

Go on the Playstation Store and search for the game and it should have an online pass you can buy for 10 bucks.

Back up all you're save data and swap the Hard drive..
BACK UP your old PlayStation 3 first if you're transferring a hard drive.

NOTE: When you start up the system for the first time with the new hard drive installed, you'll get a message saying "The system software cannot be run correctly". Don't panic.

Here's what you must do: Get a USB memory stick, put it into your computer. On that USB stick, create a folder and name it "PS3". Then, make another folder within the PS3 folder and name that "UPDATE".

Go to the Sony website and find the latest firmware update. Then simply download it into the UPDATE folder. Once that is done, take the memory stick out of your computer and stick it into your PS3. Press and hold the START and SELECT buttons at the same time on the controller and the system will locate the update! From there it's all straight forward.
