PS Vita/PS3 downloaded transfer help

I didn't want to make a whole new thread for this one question so I'll add another question on top of it

1.I don't even know if this can be done but I recall reading somewhere that if you download something on your PS Vita you can share/transfer it to your PS3(so you don't have to pay for the same thing twice EX. I bought Final Fantasy VIII for the Vita but want to know if I can somehow transfer it to my PS3 or if I will have to re-buy it{I own the PS1 version of the game if it can't be done but I just like the convenience of it being on the system if I travel})

2. Since that should be just a straight forward answer I'll follow up with this. What are some of your favorite PS Vita games. I only own Gravity Rush & some RPG game (can't remember the name) I mainly use it as a portable PS1

Yes you should if you have the same account on both PS3 and PS Vita or by directly going to your Downloads on you PS3, since PS1 games on the PSS can be played on all Playstation systems that has a PSS, and I'm sure that's a given... (Also, if you bought it on the same account you can't possible buy it again unless there is another version, and there is one version of PS1 games as far as I know)

1) If the game is compatible with both PS3 and Vita, and if you bought it with the same account, you don't have to do the transfer thing. Just go to your download list on the PS Store using your PS3 and download it directly.

2) P4G is the best game for the Vita. Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway are amazing as well. Wipeout, Uncharted, Gravity Rush.... Vita has plenty of good games.
