I know the thread isn't meant to be serious, but the quote was a metaphor, and everybody knows Hashirama survived after seeing the susanoo.

it's just obvious that the saying is only a saying and not something literal.....which is why the joke doesn't really work in this scenario(no offense)

Perfect Susano'o is the greatest defense. Hashirama is dead. Only reason the 5 kage survived, Edo Tensei was canceled forcing madara to become a floating soul.

My joke was flawless lol I was just making fun of Madara's arrogant attitude at the time. He meant to say that PS is such an amazing jutsu that it hasn't failed to kill any enemy. The Kages would have died for sure but that still doesn't change the fact that Hashi faced PS and crushed it =D

Read between the lines... Madara meant PS is such an extraordinary jutsu that NO ONE who faced it survived, which is obviously not true since Hashi survived. Hashi being dead as nothing to do with this thread
