Proxy Settings, loosing internet issue

hey guys, i keep loosing the internet connection for some reason several times in a few minutes. Whenever i try and fix it, it gives me this message:

proxy settings for this network could not be detected automatically.

And i have tried to fix it but i cant seem to figure it out

go to internet options, connections, lan settings, the uncheck the box that says connect to proxy server.

that i have already tried, it apparently does not work.
