Godot wears a white tie with a striped vest over a green shirt, along with black sleeve garters. He also wears black slacks and black shoes as well. Most noticeable of his attire is an electronic visor adorned over his eyes (waterproof), with a silver shell and three red lines going across it. He has tanned skin, white hair, and light facial hair.

>Personality

Godot could be described as "smug" and a "hot-shot". He is unrelenting in and is fond of referring to women by pet names like "kitten", as well as using countless metaphors and quotes constituting his "rules" though their meanings are often lost on others. He epitomizes justice and regards himself as a prosecutor who’s duty it is to pursue the truth and condemn the guilty. Godot is generally very calm and collected even in unfavorable circumstances. His most notable personality trait is his deep love of coffee. He is known to drink seventeen cups of coffee per day and has at least 107 different personal coffee blends, his personal favorite being #102. His coffee is known for being exceptionally bitter and hot, which he considers a point of pride. Naturally, much of him metaphors are related to coffee. One of Godot's surprising talents is his accurate impersonations of other people whose voices he mimics perfectly. A typical Ganmi trait, Godot exhibits strong feelings of pride and contempt, both of which are a by-product if his immense self-confidence and unique principles.

>History

Godot was originally named Diego and was raised by an old judge in Amegakure after being discovered near the village as an infant, having been apparently abandoned by his parents who were from Amegakure. Growing up, Diego's foster father tried to teach him to value fairness and order but he was quite rebellious at time and the two never saw eye to eye. Diego had at some point acquired an unusual taste for coffee which stayed with him through his life, even during his time at the ninja academy. He was strangely good looking for his age and his popularity with the girls led to some of the boys in his class to attack him out of jealousy. However, these confrontations usually ended with his opponents shamed to tears and himself untouched.

After graduating and becoming a ninja, Diego began to see the world in a larger scope, both the good and the bad. Remembering the old judge's teachings, he sought a balance which he found in truth and justice. He believed the weak should be defended and the cruel, persecuted. At age 27 he had spiky black hair and wore a red dress-shirt with a black tie. He was a skilled ninja and part of a 3-man team tasked with capturing wanted criminals.

His teammates were Mia and Terry, Mia being a new addition to the group. Diego helped train her until she was competent enough to handle missions on her own if necessary. After tracking down and cornering an infamous medical ninja named Dahlia, Terry was wounded by a poisoned weapon and collapsed. Deigo and Mia attempted to save Terry's life the poison was too strong and the distraction gave Dahlia an opportunity to escape. Angered by the outcome, Diego swore to avenge his comrade and protect Mia. Soon afterward, the two started dating.

A year later, Diego finally figured out where Dahlia was hiding and confronted her alone. During the high point of a climactic battle, Dahlia managed to slip a tasteless, lethal poison into the cup of coffee he was drinking at the time. By pure instinct, Diego noticed something was wrong but not in time avoid ingesting a small amount. As a result, Diego fell into a coma. The poison damaged his central nervous system, causing extreme damage to his eyes, and turned the hair on his head white.

Five years later, Deigo suddenly regained consciousness just as a doctor entered his room with a cup of coffee. After having been deprived of coffee for so long, just being near the bitter drink had somehow snapped him out of his coma. Doctors told him an unknown group of ninja had heard his cries of pain had rescued him from Dahlia and left him at a hospital. During his recuperation he learned that Mia, the woman he loved, had been killed a year ago in a fight with Dahlia who was captured and executed later on. Diego blamed himself for the death of his teammates and could not bring himself to return to Amegakure despite the fact that he had been very much powerless to do anything about it. He began wearing a special visor over his eyes that enabled him to see, although it was limited in that he could not see red on a white background. Considering his old self to have "died", he took on the name "Godot”.

A woman visiting the town he lived in caught wind of Godot's miraculous recovery and spoke with him. After telling her of his ordeal, she revealed herself as a ninja from the Ganmi clan. She explained that the Ganmi have heightened senses, particularly taste, which may have been the cause of Godot's awakening. He had remembered upon awakening being keenly aware of the coffee's flavor in a way he hadn't noticed before then. Intrigued by this strange ability, Godot set off to learn more about the Ganmi and his place among them from someone known as the "Candymaker".

At this point, Godot is at the lowest rank among the clan. He possesses the clan's inherited ability of Taste Sensory, allowing him to pinpoint tastes and their sources with great accuracy within a radius of 50 meters. He is able to distinguish between different people and animals, and a huge variety of different molecules and elements. He is referred to as a "Bud". The same connotation are used to refer to people outside the clan, as a mocking/familiar name.

Other equipment are kept in pouches along his waist and left leg. These include kunai, shuriken, fuma shuriken, senbon, flash bombs, smoke bombs, exploding tags, ninja wire, a black katana on his right hip, and a closed mug of coffee.

Fuuinjutsu and Summoning: Godot also carries a number of various pre-prepared tags and scrolls for the use of sealing techniques, weapon summoning (the ninjutsu techniques), "Earth Release: Wheel of Fortune", and other elemental ninjutsu using scrolls. It includes writing utensils to create or modify such techniques. Some of the sealing scrolls contain arrows and a quiver, a bow, a giant war fan, a lance, a thermos of coffee, and extra mugs.
Two seals are located on Godot's wrists. The left seal contains 30 metal arrows with various customizations including arrows following a curved path instead of strait, some containing hidden explosives, and others with different arrowheads. Eight of these arrows have wires attached. In the right seal are 8 giant shuriken, a katana, a bow, and 20 kunai. Two of the shuriken have wires attached, as do eight kunai.
