~this is something i wrote about unrequited love. thanks to tsukiyoumi93 and izinagi54 for inspiring me to share a little bit of myself.and to chicky. u know i love you where ever you maybe, right? i hope you will take it easy on me guys.~
BATTLE CRY
you speak softly of your pain
i listen intently to the cries of your anguish
despite the facade you are wearing
the excruciating pain devoid you of coherence
i held you as i saw the tears misting in the corner of your eyes
as you struggle to hold of your senses
the past still hurt, i believe
and you are still fighting her phantoms in your four corner walls.
its been a while now
yet, you feel exactly the same
each and every day is a battle
and i watch you struggle with difficulty
i was at your back
like an archangel, i hovered silently
your pain is my pain
you bleed and i bleed wordlessly
inside of me, i despised her presence in the deep recesses of your mind
i had scratched and clawed the demon that was her with all the intensity that i could muster.
i shared your angst, the taunts at the back of your mind
the torment of your soul and the agony of your spirit.
she had caused you a thousand and one pain
your dreams of utopia vanished with her indifference
yet, you held on
never wanting to let go
though your light was extinguished from her brutality
you still hope, trust and beseech
insensitivity. thats what she taught you
cruelty. you are learning it the passing of the day
confusion. your shadow in the night
and your tears are the weakness and witness of her betrayal.
to be or not to be, as the poet say
that is the question
will i be out of line if i say, "i love you so much?"
the profoundness of this feeling will go unanswered
like the prairie wind, it will be taken for granted
and it will vanish along the broken bottles on the shore
the message will be far hidden
tied in the current of nothingness
"will you love me less for i love you so much?"
the question will be far hidden
the answer will be buried somewhere only the seraph knew
as the constellations aligned their tails of destiny
i pray to the gods and deities
that you will find the road of certainty
hear it, i beg
find it, i plead
for my certainty only comes once in a lifetime
even for how many lifetimes you live
