Pein's cons didn't really make sense. You say he was a psycho but he was pretty rational most of the time just like Itachi, so I don't see that as being a problem, also being unstoppable isn't bad either, that just means he'll be able to complete his goals no matter what.

he still would kill anyone to accomplish his goals, Itachi choose not to fight Jiraya, not kill Kakashi, etc. he has a good record of not killing ninja for no reason
