Team Mizukage vs Team Tsuchikage ​

As with my previous thread is a new variation in my Kage vs Kage Threads by including any shinobi that are Akatsuki or Jinchurikis and pairing them with a Kages/Sannins to create more diversity and strategic play in fights.

This is a thread highlighting the strength of Kisame and the Second Mizukage but unlike my other threads it has no bias, and is therefore showing why either team could win. Simply you just ignore the title as I wrote it that way for people to recognize it was one of my threads.

Kakuzu’s Abilities
​

Pseudo Immortality
Kakuzu uses the kinjutsu to integrate other people's hearts into his own body after killing his opponents. His body allows him to include up to 4 extra hearts into his own body meaning he has a overall number of 5. In order to kill Kakuzu all 5 hearts must stopping beating which makes him in a way immortal. The hearts can also take on bodies of their own in the shape of black creatures which each can utilize the element their mask has.

This immediately makes the battle odds 6 vs 2 while also giving Kakuzu five entire lives meaning on five separate occasions Kisame and the Second Mizukage would need five lethal hits becoming almost a impossible feat with the aid of Muu.

Large Scale Wind Release Techniques
Kakuzu is able to use four of the five basic elements which are wind, fire, lightning and earth. Kakuzu is able to wind release on such a large scale that he was able to destroy a large portion of the terrain whilst fighting Kakashi, Shikamaru, Ino and Choji all at the same time. His wind release gives him the advantage over lightning release users whilst also being able to strengthen his powerful fire release techniques which required Naruto's Wind Release Rasengan infused with Yamato's Water Release to extinguish it.

There have been some arguments that this can be used as a cooling down method for the infinitely exploding clone by using a cold stream of wind (may not work) or simply redirecting Kisame’s large scale water attacks onto the clone.

Earth Release: Iron Skin Hardening (Earth Spear)
Kakuzu flows chakra through all parts of their body causing him to become darker in colour which in turn increases his defensive power to its utmost limits by making the skin as hard as diamond. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique.

This technique would be useful against hard hitting water techniques (high amount of force) from mainly Kisame and would also arguably be able to tank multiple hits from the Second Mizukage’s infinitely exploding clone with relatively little to no damage.

Large Scale Fire Release Techniques
Kakuzu is also able to Fire Release on an even higher scale than his Wind Release when he infuses both of them to create a mass of flames requiring both powerful wind and water release techniques. This also gives him the elemental advantage against wind release users.

Kisame’s and the Second Mizukage’s water release techniques may not be able to counter his wind infused Fire Release techniques due to the sheer magnitude of it. This would also help him against the Second Mizukage’s Oil Based Transformation causing him to explode instantly whilst also fuelling the damage of the explosion potentially harming Kisame as well.

Earth Grudge Fear Transformation
This technique is a secret kinjutsu of Takigakure which transforms the user's body into something similar to that of a rag-doll's, which is held together by hundreds of thick black threads. Kakuzu was able to manipulate these threads for many purposes. He was capable of sewing up any injuries that he or others might suffer, most commonly by reattaching body parts.

This would be Kakuzu’s Trump card against Kisame and the Mizukage by growing a massive amount of threads he would be able to attack them both simultaneously in Taijutsu while also merging his masks into his body to allow them to use large scale combined ninjutsu attacks e.g. Fire + Wind while also protecting them by keeping them close to him.

Powerful Lightning Release Techniques
Kakuzu is also able to lightning release with us assuming on the same scale as both his fire and wind release techniques. This will be essential in beating the Second Mizukage as he can use this to paralyze him when he liquefies and then go in for an easy win but only if he is in a water based form and not a oil based form.

This would be Kakuzu’s main offensive against Kisame’s water related techniques e.g. Water Prison, and effectively could force a double suicide or for him to force Kisame to release the technique. Kisame’s Samehada fusion mode would also become a burden rather than a trump card due to being reliant on being inside a body of water which would inevitably become a electrocution chamber with Kakuzu’s Large Scale Lightning Techniques.

The Second Mizukage would also face the extra threat of being electrocuted when fusing with a large body of water due to the di-charged nature of it making it a perfect conductor of electricity and lethal to anyone caught in the explosion.

Second Tsuchikage's Abilites​

Dust Release: Primitive Detachment of World Technique
This is an advanced nature kekkei tōta (only possessed by a select few) which is an advanced version of kekkei genkai, it is created through simultaneous use of the earth, wind, and fire elemnts. The technique creates a three-dimensional object e.g. a cone, a cube or a sphere where the user traps the target in the shape and disintegrates the target on a molecular level.

This is Muu’s trump card in the battle being able to devastate the landscape on a large scale causing nearby water sources to seep into the ground while also using it at medium flying range on a fairly large scale to make the attack impossible to dodge.

-Absolute invisibility
This technique allows Mu to control how light is reflected around his body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent, shadow and form not to mention their chakra signature meaning they cannot be detected by normal means e.g. with the naked eye, byakugan and sensory abilities.

This means that he would be able to utilize sneak attacks, fool the opponents with a decoy from splitting and even use a large scale Jinton (Dust Release) when the opponents are off guard.

-Splitting Ability
The Second Tschuikage has shown the ability to avoid a potentially lethal blow by splitting from his physical body, creating a 2nd body which he inhabits and leaving his previous body to take the hit. Its very similar to a snake shedding its skin as it is no longer a part of its physical body and anything that happens to it is irrelevant to the snake itself.

This ability would be crucial against Mizukage’s Infinite Exploding clone due to how devastating a single successful hit can be meaning he can escape a lethal blow and even compensate for it by using a successful sneak attack on either opponent to significantly hinder their fighting power. However he loses 50% of his fighting power for every consecutive use meaning it should only be used as a last resort.

- Large Scale Earth Release Techniques
The Second Tsuchikage also possessed the Earth element as stated above. It allows the user to manipulate the surrounding earth for both offensive and defensive purposes be it dirt, mud, or rock. It is one of the most versatile elements being able to be used defensively as a shield or armour, offensively to strengthen attacks, boost physical strength, transportation (underground) and the ability to warp the terrain itself.

This would be useful on so many levels when fighting Kisame and the Mizukage including having the elemental advantage over their water meaning he can protect Kakuzu from large waves, the ability to travel underground and greatly increase his strength level.

Its main purpose would serve warping the terrain so Kisame and the Mizukage have no choice but to keep moving and run the risk of being killed if they remain stationary.

-Flying and Levitating
Mu also had the ability to levitate above the ground meaning he could drastically boost his speed by erasing the force of friction. Mu could also take this to the next level by being able to fly at any range meaning he could go out of range of many of Itachi's moves and Genjutsu whilst simultaneously bombarding him with Elemental Techniques and Jinton.

This would be useful for Kakuzu as he could provide him with aerial support, warp the terrain on a large scale, protect against water release techniques to large for Kakuzu to see fully and dodge with countless other similar advantages.

-Sensory Capabilities
Muu is also a skilled sensor who's ability can sense shinobi over several kilometers, as well as classify and discern chakra into different groups, this is shown when he stated that Gaara's chakra was very similar to that of his father and the ability to distinguish between chakra belonging to different populations.

This would be useful in rendering the Mizukage’s Genjutsu useless against him whilst also being able to detect him if he merges with a nearby body of water or if Kisame and the Mizukage decide to launch a surprise attack.

Kisame's Abilites​

Large Scale Water Techniques
Kisame was almost unparalled in magnitude when it came to Water Release techniques except by a select few including Tobirama. He was shown at many instances to summon large bodies of water using his chakra alone because of his massive chakra reserves. This allowed him to excute Water Release techniques that would overwhelm the opponent due to the sheer magnitude of his techniques and alter the entire battlefiled, warping the very terrain in his favour as his Samehada Fusion Mode has been shown to move extremely fast whilst submerged in water.

This could be useful as both a offensive and defensive maneuver against Kakuzu and Muu by being able to counter/overwhelm their combined fire and wind release techniques whilst also being able to trap them in a Water Prison or summoning a large wave to drown them with a massive force.

He can also aid his ally the Second Mizukage by replenishing him from dehydration that would come from Kakuzu and Muu whilst also being strengthened by fusing with the water.

Ability to suck Chakra out of the opponent
Kisame also showed a unique trait of sucking out chakra out of his opponents using his sword Samehada. He shared a symbiotic relationship with his sword, giving it chakra in exchange for sucking out chakra out his opponent on contact and giving it to him allowing him to become theoretically infinitely strong and match his strength to his opponent even if they have higher chakra reserves.

Its also a method used by Kisame to gradually wear down his opponent and turn the fight into a fight of stamina exhausting the opponent whilst replenishing his own strength resulting in a inevitable win. This would be useful in the fight against Kakuzu and Muu by forcing close combat situations, draining them of their chakra and replenishing his own making the gap of skill become ever increasing every time he lands a successful hit.

Highly Skilled in Kenjutsu
Kisame before defecting from his village became known as one of the seven Ninja Swords men. This was an elite group of swordsmen who were argubably the most gifted users of Kenjutsu in the entire Narutoverse. Kisame was highly skilled in Kenjutsu able to defeat opponents without the use of ninjutsu giving him the ability to conserve his chakra levels whlist simultaneously exhausting the opponent with the use of Samehada's special trait.

Kakuzu was highly skilled in Taijutsu meaning he would be able to rival him in close combat in situations while draining him of his charka to eventually gain the upper hand as his level of performance drops to a unsatisfactory level.

Extremely High Chakra Reserves
Kisame has also shown to have chakra levels so high it can only be paralleled by that of a Tailed Beast giving rise to his nickname of "The Tailless Tailed Beast". Combined with Samehada's ability to absorb chakra, Kisame is not prone to fatigue and rarely gets tired as demonstrated when he fought the Four Tails Jinchuuriki but only complaining to be a "bit tired".

This would be useful in a battle of attrition managing to outlast Kakuzu and Muu due to the chakra consuming nature of their jutsu while also replenishing the Second Mizukage, allowing him to use his exploding clone, Clam Genjutsu and allowing Kisame to wrap up allowing the Mizukage to recover.

Samehada Fusion Mode
Kisame is also able to expand on his shark like appearance by fusing with his sword Samehada to become half-man, half-shark. He completely merges with Samehada which doing so causes him to grow fins and webbed hands that allow him to move through water with considerable ease. Kisame also receives some of Samehada's abilities while in this form, such as being able to extend spikes from his body for offense, and absorbing chakra when others come into direct contact with him, as well as the ability to track chakra.

This would act as both his trump card and counter to Kakuzu’s Earth Grudge Fear transformation with both users being able to undergo similar transformations and achieve high magnitude elemental attacks in their respective element(s).

Second Mizukage’s Abilities​

Hydrification Technique
This ability granted to him from the Hozuki clan allows the Second Mizukage to liquefy his entire body from any given moment from his hair to his organs and muscle. This technique unique to the clan allows the second mizukage to change from solid to liquid at any time. It is useful for infiltration missions, avoiding attacks, escaping somewhere and etc.

He can use this technique on a higher level of that to Suigetsu’s become partially oil meaning he is no longer weak to lightning release techniques as the oil is a natural insulator thus eliminating the threat of Kakuzu’s Lightning Heart.

-Ability to absorb all Water Ninjutsu
This is a unique ability granted to the Hozuki clan for the unique Nature Transformation which allows the Second Mizukage to absorb all water Ninjutsu attacks when they are in liquid state, not only does the attack prove less than useless it can give various advantages to the caster of the transformation at the moment of the attack.

This can be used advantageously with Kisame and surrounding bodies of water so he becomes both larger in size, able to re use his water release techniques and devastate Kakuzu and Muu on a large scale whilst also becoming immune to Kakuzu and Muu’s combined Large scale wind and fire techniques.

-Infinte Oiled-Based Water Clone Explosion Jutsu
The second Mizukage creates a clone which resembles a chibi version of himself which made from the oil and water in his body. The water in the clone is surrounded by a thin layer of oil and due to this structure, the clone's temperature can easily be altered from cold to hot and vice-versa. When it exerts itself, the outer layer of oil heats up and evaporates the water inside. As the internal pressure builds, the clone expands until it violently explodes and the water vapour is released. This vapour then cools down as it rises and as a result, turns into hail that cools the clone, causing it to shrink to its original size and start the entire process again.

The Second Mizukage can use this technique with his Clam Genjutsu to constantly cause both Kakuzu and Muu to move due to the destructive explosion while using Kisame as a guard to prevent Mu from sensing/getting close to the clam whilst also being aided by the Exploding clone to hold out against both their opponents.

-Increase in Size for the Volume of water in surrounding area
The added benefit of absorbing water ninjutsu using the method the Hozuki clan means that the rules of liquids dictate that the caster of the transformation includes this increased volume into their new size and can become infinitely larger because of the ever increasing nature of water. It allows the Second Mizukage to cast water Ninjutsu on a much bigger scale, transform the top of their bodies into solid state and the bottom into liquid state meaning a overall gain in size.

This can be used in conjuction with Kisame’s Large Scale Water Release techniques by reusing the already present water after the technique to further the effectiveness by becoming a size able to hold out against a Tailed Beast (see Suigetsu vs Killer Bee).

-Mirage Genjutsu
A wide-range genjutsu where the Second Mizukage, in conjunction with his summon, is able to manifest realistic mirages using the mist exuded by the clam. As it is impossible for observers to distinguish from the real thing through normal methods, this property makes the technique ideal for concealing the actual location of either individual, resulting in confusion amongst the opposition as their attacks are rendered ineffective and they attempt to ascertain the pair's true positions.

This would be useful if he and Kisame are able to separate Muu and Kakuzu, causing Kakuzu to be caught in this genjutsu and not having Muu to support him with his sensory prowess. This would ultimately make the battle odds 2 vs 1 with Kakuzu being made momentarily useless and the Second Mizukage overwhelming Muu with the help of Kisame’s Large Scale Water techniques to fuel his hydrification technique.

Water Bullet Technique
Using the Hydrification Technique, the user forms a finger gun and fires a droplet of water at the intended target with tremendous force from their index finger, enough to easily pierce through a sand clone

Kisame and the Mizukage can also combine both of their most powerful projectile water based attacks by fueling Kisame's Great Shark water bullet meaning once it eats through the chakra of the Mizukage's greatest water technique it would become literally unstoppable even against Kakuzu's wind infused fire release techniques meaning it could potentially One hit K.O Kakuzu with Muu being forced to split.

-Steaming Danger Tyranny + Clam Genjutsu
The Mizukage could also activate his infinite exploding clone then immediately use his Clam Genjutsu on Kakuzu once Muu goes into the skies or purses Kisame effectively momentarily making the odds 2 vs 1, giving them enough time to overwhelm Muu by catching him in a Water Prison then returning to Kakuzu once the Tsuchikage has been killed.

-Final Resort:Water Prison Jutsu + Hydrification Technique​

To ensure this method works Kakuzu could leave one of his hearts separate from him so if all of his hearts are indeed crushed it can re-enter his body and revive him.

-Final Resort: Terrain Warping Earth Techniques + Earth Grudge Fear ​

As a final resort Kakuzu could enter his Earth Grudge Fear integrating all of his hearts and masks into his body combined with Muu warping the terrain on a large scale with Earth Release techniques meaning the Mizukage and Kisame would have to avoid landing for extended periods of time.

This is made worse by Kakuzu would constantly pursue them from a distance and use elemental volleys to limit their movements with each attack that narrowly misses the Mizukage having the added effect of furthering his dehydration and ultimately lowering his performance.

I agree with most of your points but Kakuzu does have lighting style and lighting>water, that would give kakuzu a bite advantage over Kisame and Second Mizukage and Muu invisibility would give his team another advantage over Kisame and Second Mizukage let's be real here you can't fight someone you can't see.
