I wouldn't go that far, I'd say he can keep up with 3 gates Guy at best. Now Rock Lee he may be able to equal 5 gates. Guy an Lee's gates are on different level's. No disrespect to Lee but Guy grew up fighting tougher shinobi than Lee so the power is way different & Lee states it himself.

Example: Sasuke is very skilled at taijutsu thanks to Lee but was out classed by Madara twice because the difference in era.
Madara grew up in war times while Sasuke grew up in a pretty chilled time, Battle experience was way different.

@bold: So we disregard the fact Madara possessed sage mode? & the complete fact that Madara had an entire lifetime of experience on Sasuke, and I mean a LIFETIME.

they are fighting to protect Naruto. The moment was to show that they are willingly to sacrify them to save Naruto. It was drawn that way that Hinata shield for her love and Neji double shield to protect the two people that changed his fate.

I dont understand why people only post 1 image to make Neji looks bad but really forgot that they has been on defense VS spikes that coming from 10 tails rapidly.
Even Sakura who learn just to dogde for so many years and she didnt do anything when that happened - still nearly get her self killed if not for Kakashi to save her.
