Pure speculation, there is nothing that indicates Minato had Sage Mode and nothing that indicates he had the chakra levels to control the natural energy needed to obtain Sage Mode. fail evidence is fail.

Could be true, because he was a genius afterall. And that will give him the strength to do damage or kill off opponents. It's just too fishy that his strongest attack cant kill tobi, when there are obviously more physically stronger people than tobi. :shrug:

There wasn't proof saying Minato wasn't a SM either.

When Tobi attacked Konoha, when the first chain of reaction was made he didn't have time to turn into SM and he didn't have any trouble saving the leaf village so he didn't need to use SM (if he had). He sealed Kurama using a deadly sealing jutsu even if he was in SM he would die anyway. He didn't face any difficult at all, there was no need to use SM and also as I said b4 he didn't have time to gather nature's energy.

Naruto is always compared to his father when he becomes stronger.
When he appeared in SM he was compared to his father and Jiraya, when he was in KM he was compared with his father by Kakashi.

Another point that you should look into. I dunno if I am imagining things but didn't Jiraiya point to which signature was his on the contract? Then there was only one name after his, well who else could it be between the time of Jiraiya and Naruto?

Minato always had his cloak, Naruto's cloak appears when he turns into SM.
I think we should wait to see what is coming up in manga instead of making statements assuming as the truth and trying to make it undoubtable.
