[Spoilers] Proof Itachi's Izanami Actually Hit The Real Kabuto

OK i know there are tons of threads that are about this but there is still one thing i have yet to see them all mention. lets analyze the last scene really quickly.

Itachi TELLS Kabuto that he will activate Izanami now, and that Kabuto has failed.

As soon as Itachi makes his hand sign, Kabuto collapses.

Sasuke asked if its already over, Itachi says nothing but we get a close up of his face and BOTH eyes are still active, meaning that Izanami has not been completed, also meaning that Itachi knows Kabuto's collapsing to be fake.

Then we see Itachi get taken out almost instantly but the next glimpse of Itachi's face shows that Izanami has taken full effect, meaning that in between the 2 panels of us seeing itachi's face with 2 active eyes and Itachi being taken down, Itachi finished Izanami. And at that point Kabuto was inches in front of him, it would be impossible for Itachi to miss at that point.

Its been emphasized that Kabuto will lose due to his own Edo Tensei. Itachi was only able to get such a sure shot at Kabuto with the Izanami by sacrificing himself. Which will end up not being a sacrafice unless itachi somehow shut off ALL Edo's but that would make the Madara fight waayy too anti-climactic.

As far as I know, izanami is not a genjutsu, therefore it does not require eye or body contact. Itachi just simply needs to imagine something, and izanami makes it happen......

I just noticed that as well. Maybe that little speech Itachi gave was to get Kabuto to lunge at him the way he did. I think he's going to walk up from another part of the room like Danzou kept doing.

at about 3:13WTH i believe he uses izanami and reverses time. if Itachi used izanami before kabuto attack and the effects of izanami is in fact the reversal of time then itachi may still be alive and just perceiving kabuto and sasuke for now. just a thought.

It is also possible Itachi used Izanagi.

Itachi has been fatally injured before, back when the cave spikes hit him, he just regenerated because of Edo Tensei, Itachi is already dead, how can he die? Do you even read the Manga?

Look that video is not CANON!! You know what that means it was basically fanmade by the creators of the game it has nothing to do with Kishi. It is just what they thought the fight would be like so yeah its like filler episodes in the anime

Exactly and I think was more just a shadowing effect from the drawing for the manga and was not intentional on Kishi's part. Kishi made sure that one eye was dark while the other was still lit with the MS.

The fight you see in storm generations is not canon. Every scene in generations is non canon meaning it never happened. Don't compare that to whats happening in the Manga...

Exactly it irritates me that people have been using that video as proof that Madara used Izanami in the fight I am not saying he didn't but Kishi has not revealed it one way or another.

OMG Dude! I NEVER NOTICED THAT! It's like he reversed time, but instead of rewinding all of time, it rewind only the attack itself, which then continued in the present. That's awesome! I hope Madara uses that in the war vs the kage, and very soon!
