Proof- itachi> nagato

im still waiting for the proof that itachi > nagato, when itachi destroys a whole village, overpowers a sage mode naruto then still has enough power to still fight the kyuubi then revive the whole village afterwards, then i think we got a conversation. itachi is strong don't get me wrong but people like you make him look bad when you overate him like this. also itachi would not use izanami, he only used it on kabuto because he was an edo. itachi is one of the strongest characters in naruto but there are quite a few characters that can beat him like:

Ems sasuke
Bm naruto
nagato
minato
Hashirama
madara
obito
even current kakashi can put up a good fight

this is not even a reason.first of all,tobi does not fear itachi.the only thing that he said was that itachi never ceased to amaze him and tobi also said that if he had not kept some of the mangekyou sharingan secrets with him then itachi would have killed him already.the fact that tobi is not dead means that itachi new he was not strong enough to kill him.this is the reason why he died by sasuke's hands so that will he gain the ms and then the ems so that sasuke will be able to beat tobi.itachi was not even in pein's or nagato's league.stop putting itachi on nagato's level because he was never there to begin with.itachi is strong but not that strong.

You just gave us you're opinion and i don't believe that tobi feared itachi at all, Itachi knew he has no chance against him and that's why he waited till he was dead and tried to attack him with amaterasu which failed. I believe tobi though itachi would be a great asset to the akatsuki and wanted to keep the agreement that he made with itachi nothing else ....

It's true that Itachi is smarter than Nagato. It is also true that Nagato possesses a counter to every single jutsu in Itachi's arsenal - the same cannot be said of the Uchiha. If both ninja are bloodlusted and going for the kill Nagato could take the victory with relatively low difficulty just by using Banshou Tenin to pull Itachi's eyes out. If both are IC, Chibaku Tensei, Chou Shinra Tensei or Gedo Mazo all stomp, while Banshou Tenin simply pulls Itachi out of Susanoo. Preta Path or Shinra Tensei > Amaterasu. Tsukuyomi is not a long ranged jutsu and Nagato can always avoid eye contact with his sensing abilities. Low level genjutsu can always be dispelled by someone who mastered Yin Release at age 10.

First of all half the shit you mentioned has no relevance to the topic, Naruto, Bee AND Itachi defeated Nagato.

This is not a spam thread giving stupid facts why itachi solo's nagato, that fact is clear, itachi wins, like it or not. I actually wanna talk bout leadership and rank. The only reason why the sage like itachi was in akasuki and was not leader was because tobi feared him. Tobi actually went outa his way to halt and hide his moon eye plan under the shadow of nagato's bomb plan. So why oh why did a dude named tobi, claiming to be madara fear itachi? Now it makes sense, obito's set was not far from itachi's, and he probably heard of itachi while he was still in the village. So now nagato fans look at the topic, and note that tobi with madara on his side and several op techs, and super knowledge feared itachi but called nagato a pawn.

Tobi stated that Nagato was the most powerful akatsuki so yeah. Besides when itachi/bee/naruto fought nagato, he was still immobile....he couldn't move as kabuto stated due to leg injuries before his death, which is why he didn't dodge Totsuka blade.

Now if we have a fully mobile 100% nagato vs 100% Itachi.....nagato wins, because I doubt Itachi has enough power on his own to destroy chibaku tensei in time(he had help from naruto and bee the other time) nagato can suck up most of his jutsus and counter amaterasu, totsuka blade, with shinra tensei or possibly preta path.....or he could even just dodge it.

All nagato has to do is run itachi down, which wont take long, since his stamina is low....susanoo stops, and nagato destroys him.
