Now wait, wiat wait, i know some people already read the topic, and they already blowing steam, thats why i advise you read first
Why edo madara can take on, or even probably solo the so6p
well madara is an edo=> dah, so definately unkillable, but sealable, which makes this battle intense, cause again=> dah, the so6p is the so6p, a man who 'sealed' the juubi, so sealing is right up there in his arsenal
Now i dunno if the sage of the six paths, is connected to the six paths of pain, im not sure if they posses the same technique, but ima adress that, fact is nagato used CT, while madara just summoned a hugh rock, see the diffrence
So6p
Ninja weapons- bansho, i forget the name of the others, but the one with the weird brothers, seals spirit words, this is not easily gonna work on madara seeeing as he has no favourite word, @ least non we know of, plus there's a possibilty he does, that dosent matter tho, cause madara would never allow himself get touched by it

Absorb- yea madara would be wasting his time using ninjutsu cause of this path
Sealing- what we's seen from nagato, there's two sealing techs, which again is very very dangerous for edo madara
I dont wanna go any futher cause like i said im not sure if nagato's powers apply to so6p
But i wanna adress something, which is the fact that, in the so6p's time, no shinobi, but he possesed weapons so powerful, so who the hell was he fighting? Yea the juubi, and the juubi is, yea, a bijuu, now im guessing he needed these weapons to seal and control the bijuu, im sure everyone would agree to this point, but my next people would disagree, which is the fact that, like pain, he knew no gengitsu, my theory is that, with gengitsu, he would control the juubi , just like that, with no weapons, but as shown by kishi, he was waving some kinda mosses like rod, @ the juubi.

Which brings us to why edo madara would win
Gengitsu- it could probably work, @ least for a short period of time
Meators- yea the so6p might absorb it, but madara can spam it, mwahahahahah, this would take a lot outa so6p, and madara would not be underestimating him so he would spam it at high rates
Wood clones- tough to deal with, but easy for so6p, tho, it would serve as good distraction
Susano clones-^^
Madara's fan- good for deflecting attacks
PS- when or if all fails, yea PS vs jubbi form, it would be tough, but if this happens, they could battle for days, but the edge goes to edo madara, remeber unlimited chakra
So6p's best chance is a grounded battle where he can lay his hands on madara for sealing to begin
Madara's trump card, yea, so6p's eyes, yea, rinnegan vs unlimited chakra rinnegan, so there
and yea another thing, so6p is legendary cause of his historic battle with the juubi, guess what, madara is about to posses that juubi, the world so feared.
PS- madara is in edo form, i said that like a million times, but i still feel the need to say it again, cause people choose to ignore certain things, and madara wins, cause he is used to fighting shinobi and monsters, yea hashi was a monster but asides that, kyuubi, so6p fights monster only, and yea monsters only shoots flames @ people, all bronze, big bad bronze, no brains
