Prometheus Was awful.

when i heard Prometheus was coming out I thought it was going to be about the Prometheus from Batman. But then I saw the trailer and I was sad. But glad you saved me money.

Bold: I have too agree. I was about to watch the movie. It seems interesting, but had a lot of talking in at the beginning so I.... stop watching it. I'll try to finish it even though. Just because. Also, I never knew what the movie was about.

I thought it was brilliant (hence my sig xd). This was my reaction when I watched it on the day of its release.



The holes are there which will be hopefully explained in the sequel (already in talks). To each his own I guess.

I loved Michael Fassbender playing David. Easily my favorite character.

I was dead excited to see Prometheus as an Alien fan, but watching it tonight it didn't have the same feel the originals did, I couldn't care when the characters died although I did think Micheal Fassbender as David was well cast

It was not awful, imo. It was great!
It is not a prequel, but set in the same universe. Ridley said so himself.
Well, not a direct one at least.
I expected this movie to explore ''Space Jockeys'' and suggest how humans were created, and it did.
Movie leaves a lot for viewer's imagination.
As a fan of Alien ,I've ejoyed bits of connection Prometheus had to it : Wayland Corp, Android...
I went to see it expecting little to no horror scenes and even invited my not horror fan parents, boy was I wrong inviting them XD

Prometheus was fantastic. It raised more philosophical questions than it answered, which is how films of this nature should be done. Films that attempt to answer heady philosophical questions are just obnoxious. Also, Michael Fassbender was incredible. Oscar-worthy, even.

Obviously it is another Alien movie.

Actually, it's not directly tied in with the Alien franchise. The director, Ridley Scott, said this himself. Prometheus takes place before the Alien films but because AVP killed the continuity it is not a direct prequel. It's the beginning of it's own universe with elements of Alien in it.
