Earth is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques and allow the user to manipulate the surrounding earth for offensive and defensive purposes or create it; be it dirt, mud, or rock. Earth Release techniques have the ability to change the strength and composition of the earth from being as hard as metal to as soft as clay, as well as manipulating their density making them lighter or heavier. Earth release can be mixed with explosion release to form Explosion clay. Pre-existing earth is not necessary for earth release, for the user can create it with their own chakra. Earth release is commonly affiliated with the Snake seal and/or slamming their palm onto the ground.

Earth is strong against water but weak against lightning because it can easily travel through and break the ground apart.
Earth release is a part of the kekkai genkai wood release as well as lava release.

Earth release has been used by many great ninja such as onoki, muu and diedara.
Some earth release techniques are ; Earth Dragon Bullet, Moving Earth Core, Earth Flow River and Rock Pillar Prison Technique.

ouch!....i begin to focus on te earth surrounding,also squeezing, me and as i try to release my earth chakra from deep within me only one thought comes to my head.....*damn that senpai...he made this hole to fit a size 15....he should know am at least 16.5.xd*

anyways, i continue concentrating on the earth around me noticing its raw power and brute strength. i am then able to release my earth chakra around my body and i struggle out of the ground less painfully......

I come back 2 weeks later. (wanted to wait an extra week) I then see you lifeless. "BAKA STUDENT!!! WAKE UP!..... *Pants* Oh no no no no. Is he dead.......*Slaps you as you groan* Awhh. good. *Opens your mouth for you and give you good food piills that taste like chocolate malt balls.* Ok. NOW! give it about 2mins so your energy will be full. This time i will stay with you. Now. Become one with the earth. Focus your chakra and spread it. I then want you to emerge from the ground without harming the earth in anyway

okay...after a min 23secs, i start to focus on my earth chakra again but this time releasing it into the rocks surrounding me.As the rocks are filled with my chakra,i mold them so that the hole am in opens up and i simply hop out.

Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

I want you to gather your and focus your earth chakra. Once you gathered it enough. I then want you to channel it into the ground. Causing a Pillar to arise from under you. I then want you to take a piece of rock and mold it into a kunai. Try it out

I immediately focus on my earth chakra concentrating to release a good dose into the ground am standing on. i then mold the earth to create a pillar that shoots out just in front of me. i break a piece of rock from the pillar molding it as am holding it such that some of its parts fall off and it assumes the shape of a kunai .

[*] - mid ranged so a pillar can be made to attack/trip an opponent who isnt close
[*] - no handseals required making it very fast.

Combinations-strategies
- use smoke bomb,under the cover throw formed/normal kunai(with exlosive tags if you want) infused with wind chakra(so that only B-rank lightening can stop it.....since its C-rank wind), then raise a under the opponents foot to throw him off balance just as he's about to counter the kunai

Ways to counter this technique
- send lightening through the ground to stop the pillar
- counter tools with a kunai with explosive tag

Description: This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

You technically did this already. pick up a dirt rock. And by using shape manipulation change the looks of it into a staff then throw it at my clone. be descriptive with this one

i start by picking up a rock and channeling my chakra into it..i then mold it via shape manipulation so that it the rock extends to about 4ft length and becomes pointed at one end and blunt at the other.i then throw the staff with great force aimed directly at your clones heart.

make a spear, then since its a sharp/pointed projectile weapon ressembling an elongated kunai, infuse it with wind chakra(rotating shuriken technique).and throw it.-this would increase its speed, destructive power, and make it impervious to B-rank lightening +pin point accuracy

Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.

Gather your earth chakra. I then want you to preform the earth handseal. Once done, i then want you to control the earth around my clone *Creates clone* I then want you to emerge 2 slabs of earth from around my clone and crush him

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth.

I want you to gather alot of your earth chakra. once done i then want you to channel that chakra to the ground making the ground fine sand. making it easy for you to travel underground. as your chakra will always channel the ground to find sand as you are underground

1. i start by sending a lot of my earth chakra into the ground concentrating it at the area where your clone is standing.I then make the Rat handseal to form about 5ft high earth sections to shoot out encircling the clone at about 6m radius. The rock sections begin to move in a circle around your clone immediately they shoot out. I then form two huge slabs of rock at your clones blindspots causing the rocks to approach him at a high speed and crush him.

[*] - as always, lightening is stronger than earth. apart from that i dont see anything else with this move

let a clone use the suicide decapitation technique to pull the person into the ground just before using this

Ways to counter this technique
release a strong pulse of lightening to destroy the rocks


2. i gather a lot of my earth chakra and channel it into the ground. i manipulate my chakra to turn the earth into fine sand and i immediately burrow deep into it......i immerge long range from where i entered....

use it to escape a dangerous attack on the surface then pull the person into the earth up to his neck

Gather your earth chakra. Once you gathered enough of it.l i then want you to channel it into the ground. once you channeled it i want you to shape a piece of the earth into a huge stone spike from below your opponent in this case.. (My clone) *Creates Clone*

Description: The user will concentrate and release their chakra into the ground to create a small tremer that can result in harming the enemy target.

Simple. Once you gathered your earth chakra. Channel it into the ground violently. Causing a mini tremor (Earthquake kinda) to throw the enemy off balance

as always, i start by gathering my earth chakra.i then channel it into the ground focusing it at the area your clone is standing. Then with no handseals but my excellent chakra manipulation skills, i create a sharp,pointed pillar about 4ft tall 1m behind your clone.The pillar shoots out with incredible speed and silence and is slanted at an angle towards the clone.It pierces him from behind, going through its heart

make a normal pillar shoot out infront of an opponent slanted so it'll hit him in the stomach if he doesnt jump back then make the spikes behind him..o-o

-or smash with a strong weapon

2. i concentrate on my earth chakra and release it into the ground mid range around where standing. I then make my chakra to cause

you cause it to stop an opponent who's about to lay a smackdown on you by throwing him off balance thus disrupting his move and giving you ample time to do something

Descripton: This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.

Go in that cave *Points to cave* once your in it. i then want you to gather your earth chakra. once done i then want you to channel it all around the cave. I then want you to loosen all the rocks in the cave.... You should die but no worrys. Ill bring you back to life with edo.. and ill use your girlfriend as the corpse *Gets your gf as she screams in agony* =DD

i approach your clone standing short range from him and begin channeling my earth chakra into my throat. i then transform it into mud and aim directly at your clones horrible face. i then spit it out with a high pressure as a thick glob of mud which hits and completely covers your clones face makint diffilt for him to see or breathe

Spit mud straight into an opponents face and as he is trying to retain sight, cause esrth spikes to shoot out and piece him.

Ways to counter this technique
create an earth pillar to block the mud of an earth shield.


2. As i approach the entrance of the cave i take out a file containing my last will and testament and put it infront. I then cast one last glance at you planning how i would kick yo a** if i made it out alive as i enter the cave.
i immediately move to the centre and start focusing on my earth chakra. i then channel it all around me and into the rocks in the cave. I then manipulate my chakra causing the rocks to loosen and break into smaller pieces, which all begin begin raining down......

....due to the extreme love i have for my life i immediately use Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique to go underground and come out behind you. i immediately shove you from behind so that you land on your face

Once gathered your chakra. i want you to do the handseals (Rat>Horse>Dog>Snake) I then want you to channel the earth chakra. i then want you to manipulate the earth and have an earth pillar arise around me.
