What is prom ?

Its like a party at the end of secondary school (I'm from England, i don't know about America or anywhere else) but we dress up in fancy dresses and boys wear suits and the school arranges us to all go to a meal and there's a dance afterwards.
Basically just closure for leaving school

What is prom ?

An event which usually marks the end of high school or whatever.

The media tends to usually give the impression that a prom is very fancy, with slow dancing and expensive food, but to me, iz just a rave.
