An arc or at least a portion of time should be devoted to Madara successfully activating the infinite tskuyomi.
Madara is completely fermented in his goal and will not be swayed. His character is the pinnacle and poster boy for the polar opposite spectrum Naruto falls on.

Words can no longer reach Madara only actions.
What better way for Madara to accept that power is not the way to peace ? The answer is by witnessing first hand its faliure.Madara stated the inital plan the sage had was for the chakra he dished out was to be used as a catalyst for people to connect their spiritual energy with others.

If everyone individually through their own will broke free from the genjustu by denying its reality madara will witness in person the long sought deram of the sage finally coming true.

Everyone working together to bring about peace and rejecting false ideals. The ninja are embracing reality and making it a better place, something you cannot do if you surrender to the might of the infinite tsukuyomi.

What do you think ?

Do you agree that Madara cannot be TNJ?
And that this action symbolically represents the sages original goal while effectively allowing madara to succeed in his goal instead of it be hastily thwarted ?

Yeah, I too hope, and expect, the moon eye plan to take place for some time. Hopefully, this can give us development between Naruto and his parents like it was in RTN, or even sasuke and his parents, or Neji and Hinata, since all those dead people will be alive.

i am highly expecting this. expecting the entire alliance to have panels of them looking to the sky in a genjutsu like zombies sort of and everyone either has a 3 tomoe sharingan or a 9 tomoe. id rather have 3 just cause the moon would be like their leader and have all the tomoes and then all the people under the infinite tsukiyomi have 3. Note: I am not saying everyone gets a sharingan, i am saying their eyes turn into a sharingan cause theyre under a serious mind controlling genjutsu. just like how kurama's eye was turned into a wide spread 3 tomoe sharingan. get me?

I agree. I feel like its been talked about too much, and more than enough time has lapsed for it to be activated. I am not so sure it hasn't already been activated honestly......but who knows. I would also be very upset if Madara got TNJ'd. I feel like Kishi has created an amazing villan, and that would be an insult to the story. The way you described it ending is how i would see it going, everyone is put under the jutsu but we see our fav characters (k-11 and such) slowly start figuring out somethings not right and maybe even highlight Sakura or Sasuke or someone to end the genjutsu. I say Sakura because i feel like there is still a slight possibility Kishi could bring up her genjutsu ability, but i totally know this is a long shot. Anyways my opinion!

You're exaggerating quite a bit on these points you're trying to make.

- Obito was the opposite of Naruto, that was literally obvious. Naruto and Madara do not fit this category. Calling him the "posterboy" is just wrong.

- Before Tobi was unmasked, he was "fermented" in the Infinite Tsukuyomi as well, everyone believed that before he was unmasked. Hell, Obito before becoming the Jubi's jinchuriki was way more "fermented" in the Infinite Tsukuyomi then the guy who wanted to play around with the Jubi instead of conducting said plan.

- And what you are saying is basically TNJ at its finest, Naruto and company break through the Genjutsu through the power of friendship or whatever and Madara becomes a Naruto fanboy and sees the error of his ways. Sounds a lot like what happened to Nagato and Obito.

I agree with the premise of the thread; Infinite Tsukyomi should be achieved, but the rest is, with all due respect, wrong.

Madara will have a change of heart (believe it)

And if Infinite Tsukuyomi gets activated it is over. Tsukuyomi hitting every individual cannot be stopped.

The only person who could potentially resist it is Sasuke with the eyes he has now.

I never said obito didn't share traits with naruto.
This is a madara thread so i'm talking about the similarities between naruto and madara.
Madara and naruto strive for the same goal through different paths.
The same paths forged by the sons of the sage.

Other then that i talked about was the symbolism between the sages wish and the act of breaking through tsukiyomi

Breaking out of the tsukiyomi would not be a TNJ.
If you don't understand the terms your using then don't bother engaging me lol
nothing was exaggerated.

Not really interested in it. Personally would be a waste of time.. don't want to see Madara's dreams or w.e his fantasies are. I'm more interested in the fall of Madara and the build up to Naruto vs Sasuke.

Naruto vs Sasuke is the only thing i'm interested in right now.

People are overhyping Madara and overhyped Obito ..... they are simply pawns to set up the clash of Naruto vs Sasuke.

...

You stated Madara was the pinnacle of the opposite spectrum of the Rikudo Sen'nin's path to peace. I simply stated Obito was, which was obvious.

And Obito and Naruto also had different paths to the same goal as well. Madara is literally one of several characters who fall into this category, so your point is invalid.

And if we are talking specifically, no character was "TNJ'd". Nagato had to be defeated to listen to Naruto, Obito had to be defeated to listen to Naruto, and Gaara had to be defeated to listen to Naruto. You stated that Madara's Infinite Tsukuyomi will be defeated by the people of the Shinobi Alliance therefore Madara will be defeated. There is literally nothing different between what you said and the typical TNJ.

And my final point: a person who can not even type or spell properly has no right to proclaim another does not understand the terms they use.

;-)
