As said before, it would follow the rep system so it cannot be abused. The rep system is that you cannot rep someone twice without repping over 20 others first, people read the thread before posting ^^

Repping someone for giving you a gift and chatting with you! why not send a gift back if you want to be nice? I think gifts serve the purpose for your profiles well enough.

I agree. Regulating Rep abuse is already hard as it is and this would only serve to add another pointless stat to the system. I disagree and i don't see how this is useful. This is a forum. Your stats and your "membership" depends on what you post...not on your social interconnections. You have the social networks for that.​
