About Me is the "inactive module" section
Visitor messages color are under "content" section
And change the text color in those sections and save it

If you want to change the buttons go to the button section in customizations and change the color

So your button colors aren't changing when you submitted the color you wanted and pressed save?

Unless you already got the answer and if I understand this right, you simply want to change the color of the About Me, Visitor Message, Friends, etc buttons (in other words, the clickable buttons on your profile), right? They should be under the following customization options (from what I've figured out over the years of endless customization):
Modules:
*Module Text Color
*Module Link Color
Inactive Modules:
*Inactive Module Text Color
*Inactive Module Link Color
If you take a look at my profile, you can see that the 2 first options above represent the yellow colors of the "page" I'm currently viewing, which by default is Visitor Messages for most people (the active button that has been "clicked," not the actual text that is on display under that section). As you can see, both the Visitor Message button and the numbered page of VMs that is on display is in yellow, the rest of the buttons which is the Inactive Modules, represents the "pages" you are not currently viewing and that you can click on, which in my instance are green. The About Me and the other tabs will go under this when you are viewing your VMs for instance. In my case, I have the inactive modules set to green and the active ones that I'm viewing to yellow.
Not sure if you got that, but hope it helps.
PS: The Content section which the other member suggested should be the actual color of the VMs you are receiving and texts that are on display on your profile.
PPS: Okay so I did some actual testing and the "Button Text Color" simply changes the following 3 on your profile:
"Customize My Profile"
"Post Message"
"Go Advance"
The Inactive Modules does indeed represent the different tabs you can click on, but they also represent things like your Name, Status, Number of Friends, Albums, etc. Every header on the left side of your profile...

The changes that are saved do not appear in those areas instantly. You will have to leave your profile and come back and do this a few times before the changes appear. This bug or whatever has been there for ages but it was not a big issue so I didn't bother to report it.
