I still don't get what that has anything to do with X-Men or the Avengers as it doesn't involve those particular movies. Even if a potential cross-over flops, it doesn't influence those movies who already have been a success.

I still don't get what that has anything to do with X-Men or the Avengers as it doesn't involve those particular movies. Even if a potential cross-over flops, it doesn't influence those movies who already have been a success.

Oh you mean the picture I posted. Point was that the X-Men franchise is currently at the top critically in the superhero film genre. So fox is trying to distant it from the Fantastic Four reboot which is a massive critically failure.

A franchise and an individual movie are two different things. Also Age of Ultron had a box office of nearly 1.4 billion dollars, while Days of Future Past 750 million dollars. Or with other words AoU earned almost twice as much as Days of Future Past.

Using that one picture to state that the X-Men franchise is at the top, is to say the least highly subjective and very debatable.

Fantastic 4 is in the same universe where Batman & Robin, Steel, Spider-Man 3, Ang Lee's Hulk and other shitty comic book movies live. That universe is ****ed.
