"Prodigy" confusion

Lol, this is so weird in the manga, the word prodigy. You'll see what i mean.


- Sasuke was called a prodigy and he had been training since childhood. However someone like Naruto became so strong through training in a less period of time, but hes not prodigy.

- Madara was called a prodigy in childhood, however Hashirama was already stronger but he wasn't a prodigy.

- Neji was called a genius for his byakugan control, Lee was called a genius to be able to go to the Gates at such a young age. But even with this Naruto controlling Kurama's power wasn't called a genius.

- Izuna was a genius and a prodigy. Tobirama with his intellect and all the shit he did.. nope.

Lol, I always found this funny in Naruto. Its like everyone besides Naruto is a genius and a prodigy, but then he without being a genius or a prodigy is still the stronger one... lmao.

If Naruto or HAshirama were called geniuses please post the scans, cause i might have overlooked it.

Yeah I always wondered that. But like you said, even without the title most of them are way stronger than their prodigies.

IMO, I think by prodigy they meant that they were shown to do jounin-level or above feats while at a really young age. I don't know if Hashirama had mastered his wood techniques as a kid. I don't know if he even knew he had such power. I think he found out later when he trained and fought more.

I am not saying they are stupid. Just saying they have a different way to apply their prowess than let's say Madara who probably got it right the first time. I hope that made sense to you. >_<

Sasuke was NATURALLY talented.. he trained, but that doesn't change the fact that he naturally understood things faster than the average ninja.. as Kakash said, Sasuke got the hang /learned Nature transformation at such an early age and in (Can't exactly remember but , some days? some weeks? While Naruto would have taken months had he not used the shadow clone trick which greatly reduced the time.. That's a difference between Hardwork and Talent

Adapted the transferring of chakra easily.... Still using logical fallacies in your arguments? absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence.. Just because you have no direct proof of something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.. we've literally seen tobirama in a few scans when he was young, and NONE of which was in a situation that would call for someone to be randomly praising his genius ability .. Your argument is idiotic.. You don't know what tobirama was as a child so you shouldn't assume anything..

How is shadow clone credit to naruto's genius ability, Thanks to his natural genes, he has 3x the chakra of a normal person, and due to that could use the special method of training,

What in gods name are you talking about? Sasuke learned nature transformation as a kid, He was already doing Katons at an age where children in comparison were still throwing wood kunais, As far as I recall, the only thing Sasuke copied with his sharingan was lee's taijutsu.. he learned raiton nature transformation through kakashi and also chidori...

The requirements for sage mode training as ma and pa said, are lots of chakra and determination.. considering naruto is the king of hard work/determination and has a truckload of chakra, ofc his training went smoothly

And don't confuse me, I never said Naruto doesn't have natural talent.. that's not my argument, you'd be a fool to deny that.. Naruto is just not a PRODIGY
