Keiko, Minato, Shindo, and Aizu pops up from the ground.
Minato: Show off!
Itachi: How about a "thank you"?
Minato: Pshhh.
Itachi: *smirks* Looks like we're no longer equals, bro.
Minato: Yeah right! I let you finish them off, being that it's your mission and all.
Itachi: Sure, sure.
Keiko: *rolls eyes* Hello! Did you two tweebs forget that our parents are probably looking for us?
Shindo: We're fine for now, I don't sense anyone within 15 miles of us.
Keiko: Okay. That's reassuring. Though, better safe than sorry.
Minato: Alright. *playfully shoves Itachi* Itachi, we'll settle this later.
Itachi: Hmph.
Keiko: First, let's replenish our chakra. Then, we'll continue following that Jugo guy's scent.
The heroes grab a bite from either Keiko and Minato's bags. Keiko has a hard time finding Jugo's scent, being that Shindo's and Minato's wind techniques blew it in different directions. Though, since Keiko has the best sense of smell in all the Five Great Nations, she discovers the trail once again. Then, they continue their mission once they've all recovered their chakra.
Meanwhile in the Hidden Leaf Village...
Naruto is happily roaming the streets of Konoha with Raizura Sarutobi, Kurenai and Asuma's son. Raizura is a 21 year old jonin. He has tan skin and eyes like his mother's. His black hair is styled just like the deceased Shisui Uchiha. He wears a red flak jacket with a black, long-sleeved shirt underneath. Raizaru is said to possess the best genjutsu ever for a non-Uchiha. Shikamaru is his godfather, mentor, and guardian. As Naruto and Raizaru casually talks, Kakashi approaches them. Of course, he's riding Tigris.
Kakashi: Hey you two.
Naruto: Hey Kakashi-sensei!
Raizaru: How it's going Kakashi-sama?
Kakashi: Not so great, actually. I haven't seen Keiko around the village at all today.
Tigris: *Makes a sad, whining sound*
Naruto: Whoa..Come to think of it, I haven't seen my kids around either.
Kakashi: Hana is going to kill me...
Raizaru: Maybe cousin Konohamaru sent them on a mission.
Kakashi: Perhaps. We'd better go check. Hop on.
Naruto: Nehh, I'll run. I'm no old man like you yet, sensei!
Raizaru: Yeah, what Naruto-sama said.
Kakashi: Okay, suit yourselves. Hope you two can keep up. Tigris, go girl!
Naruto: *chuckles in a cocky way*
The three heads for the Hokage Mansion. Naruto gets there first, so he waits outside of the mansion for Kakashi and Raizaru. They both arrive there shortly after.
Naruto: *Dramatically yawns* What took you two so long? Kakashi have you gained some weight? Looks like your slowing Tigris down a bit.
Kakashi: Very funny, Naruto. Tigris, stay here. We'll be right back.
Naruto, Kakashi, and Raizaru enters the mansion, then Hokage Konohamaru's office. Konohamaru sits in front of desk, Tsunade sits to his right, and Shikamaru stands on his left.
Konohamaru: Raizaru? What are you doing here? I only sent for Kakashi-sensei and Naruto-sama.
Naruto: Huh?! What do you mean you've sent for us?
Konohamaru: I've asked Keiko, Itachi, and Minato to send you two here. We have a messy situation on our hands.
Kakashi: I haven't seen Keiko since this morning. The sun is setting now. By this time, I usually would see her at least 3 times around the village. Neither Tigris or I can smell her scent...
Naruto: Yeah, I haven't seen Minato and Itachi since this morning as well. Kakashi-sensei, where did Shindo and Aizu go when you three got back from training?
Kakashi: They said that they were heading home to rest...Lord Konohamaru, what's going on?...
Konohamaru: Shikamaru, please explain.
Shikamaru explains the situation to Kakashi, Raizaru, and Naruto.
Naruto: (Oh no.....Itachi....)
Naruto enters Kyuubi Chakra Mode, anxious to go find his children and Keiko, but Kakashi places a hand on his shoulder.
Kakashi: Wait, Naruto. Don't be hasty. I'm a father, too, so I understand what you're feeling. Though, if you're thinking what I'm thinking, then you know that we must make preparations.
Naruto cancels his legendary mode.
Raizaru: If I may ask, what is it that you two are thinking?
Naruto: The dead woman was.......Itachi's real mom!
Shikamaru, Konohamaru, Tsunade, Raizaru: !!!!!
Tsunade: This changes everything.
Shikamaru: Yes, they must've followed Jugo and Suigetsu. What a drag...Lord Konoham-
Konohamaru: Please people! Stop calling me "lord", it's weird! You're all like family to me.
Shikamaru: Konohamaru, which shinobi will go on this mission?
Konohamaru: Naruto and Kakashi, without a doubt.
Raizaru: What about me? They're like younger siblings to me!
Konohamaru: You don't understand what we're up against here.
Raizaru: Lousy-Shikamaru, please tell Konohamaru that I'm strong enough to be an asset in this mission.
Raizaru calls Shikamaru "Lousy-Shikamaru" often, like how Naruto called Jiraiya "Pervy-Sage" in the old days.
Raizaru: Plus, who can pose a threat to Naruto-sama and Kakashi-sama?
Shikamaru: Sorry, Raizaru. The world consists of powerful shinobi, more than you know. I cannot ask Konohamaru to send you on such a mission.
Raizaru storms out the office.
Tsunade: Don't worry, he'll be fine. He's just naive, much like Naruto and Konohamaru used to be.
Shikamaru: Yeah, you're right.
Konohamaru: Okay, that settles it. Naruto and Kakashi, you two will begin the mission whenever you're ready. I would say "good luck", but I doubt that two of Konoha's best shinobi will need it.
Everyone exchanges "see ya's" and "byes" and such. Naruto and Kakashi goes home to prepare. Naruto walks in his mansion.
Hinata: Naruto...what's wrong?
Naruto: The kids might have got themselves in a bit of a mess. Kakashi and I will fix it, no problem!
Naruto makes the situation seem less serious than it really is, in attempt to keep Hinata's peace of mind.
Hinata: Oh no.....I'm going with. I'll ask Neji and Tokuma to come along as well.
Naruto: Sorry, but you've gotta stay here, babe.
Hinata: But-
Naruto passionately kisses her to keep her quiet. Hinata still gets dumb-founded whenever they kiss, being that their love for one another is incredibly strong.
Naruto: Please, just stay here. We'll all be back in no time.
Hinata: Umm....okay.
Naruto: *smirks* Thanks.
Naruto throws on his orange battle cloak, which has black fire designs at the bottom. Tsunade originally gave it to him as a Hokage cloak, but he obviously wasn't nominated as the next Hokage as planned. He grabs other necessities, kisses Hinata goodbye, and head to the gate to meet Kakashi.
The scene switches to Kakashi's whereabouts.
Kakashi has just got done packing at his house. Excluding Tigris, Kakashi and Hana owns 4 dogs and 3 wolves. All of the animals whimpers as they suspect there's trouble involving Keiko.
Kakashi: Sshhh, it'll be alright. I'll be back with Keiko soon, please don't tell Hana.
The 7 animals bark in unison, as a way of saying "okay". Hana is out with Kiba, spending some quality brother-sister time with each other. Hana is sharp, so Kakashi would never be able convince her that everything's alright. He has no choice but to leave her without saying goodbye. Kakashi hops on Tigris to meet up with Naruto.
Naruto: Seems like we're going to fight along each other like old times, sensei.
Kakashi: Hmph, so it seems. Let's go Naruto!
Naruto: Hold on, one more thing. Shadow Clone Jutsu!
Naruto makes 5 shadow clones.
Naruto: You 5 look over the village while I'm gone.
The 5 clones: Right!
Then Kakashi and Naruto heads out to find their children to prevent them from crossing paths with specific, dangerous shinobi.
