The five shinobi have been walking northward in the forest for a while and have no idea where they're going. Minato walks slightly ahead of the others, acting as the leader.
Shindo: Umm, Minato, where exactly are we going, anyway?
Itachi, Keiko, Shindo, and Aizu stare at Minato, waiting for an answer.
Minato: *nervously* Don't worry, guys. Slow your roll, we've only been walking for a couple minutes.
Keiko: Minutes? Try a couple hours. Who made you the captain, anyway? I'm the oldest.
Minato: *mumbles* But, you're a girl.
Keiko: *Balls fist* What was that?!
Minato: *playfully flinches* Nothing!
Itachi: I have an idea. I remember that Jugo guy's chakra, maybe I can sense it if I concentrate hard enough.
Itachi tries to find Jugo by sensing his chakra, but it's no use.
Itachi: Damn, they must be long-gone by now. I've got nothing.
Keiko: Lemme give it a try. I remember how he smelled, his stench was like nothing I've whiffed before. It was kind of nature-ish.
Being half Inuzuka and inheriting Kakashi's great sense of smell, Keiko can just sniff out just about anything and anyone.
Keiko: I've got it! Their trail starts over there, to the northeast.
She flinches when she smells something unpleasant, the scent of Karin's dead body....
Keiko: Come on, guys.
She leads them to Jugo and Suigetsu's trail and they start to follow it. They continue to walk for 30 minutes, but they stop when they see something.
Aizu: Whoa, I'm not liking the look of this..
Minato: Me either..
The trail has lead them to an opening of the forest, a large grassfield. It looks like something out of a nightmare. Skulls and bones of humans lay scattered across the ground. Headbands belonging to various villages are spread throughout the field as well.
Shindo: 12 o'clock. Two powerful shinobi are approaching from the northern part of the forest.
All five of them look toward the trees, to the north. They ready themselves for battle. Then, two men enter the field, 40 feet away. They stop, examining the five, as a predator would do to their prey.
Minato: Umm, I don't think they are shinobi...
The men are naked except for shorts made of tiger's fur. They are mid-age, tall, and bulky. Shaggy, long hair flows down to the waist and whiskers sprout from their cheeks. They wear no headband, seeming to have no loyalty to any village.
Itachi: Are they human?
Minato: I don't know and I don't care. All I know is that they're dangerous.
The two beastly men are the twin sons of Kinkaku, the Gold brother. Long ago, Kinkaku raped a woman in the Hidden Cloud Village. Being the savage that he was, Kinkaku didn't care for the woman or the fact they she was pregnant with his children, so he abandoned her. The twins possessed too much chakra for the woman's body to handle, so she died giving birth to them. Believing that they were demons, the villagers exiled the babies into the forest, southwest of the Hidden Cloud. They raised themselves in the forest, feeding on animals. As they grew older and stronger, they started to kill any human who enters their territory. They have never lived in a civilized manner, so they barely know how to speak, but they've picked up just a hand-full of words from their victims. Also, they've learned some words from Suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo. Jugo has a way of communicating with them, being talented with nature and all. So, as long as someone is with Jugo, the twins will not attempt to kill. Oddly enough, the twins' skins resembles metals like their father and uncle did. One has dark greyish skin like Titanium and the other has shiny skin that looks like platinum.
Keiko: *whispers* No one move, we don't know if they want to kill or us not.
Minato: Hello! There are skulls everywhere, I doubt that want to have a nice conversation and invite us to dinner.
Itachi: Yeah, looks like they want us as dinner.
The twins activate Lightning Release Armor.
Minato: They use lightning, eh? Looks like Shindo and I better take em on, our wind jutsu will tear em to shreds.
Keiko: Like Itachi, Aizu, and I are going to let you two have all the fun.
Minato: Okay. Me and Aizu will take, umm.....Titan. Keiko, you, Itachi, and Shindo take on..err....Platinum.
Itachi: Very creative names, bro.....
Minato: Hey! That's the best I could come up with in this situation. So, everyone cool with that?
Itachi, Keiko, Aizu, and Shindo nod.
Titan: Jugo's....friends?
Minato: Err...no..
Platinum: Then..you..all..go..in..our..bellies!
Then, the first battle of their journey begins.
