problem with skype

i have a problem with skype, it stops responding and shuts off and it shows that my messages are not delivered. Does any one have this problem and did you fix it?

btw i am using a windows 7

it's a program which you can use to fix the registry files which help your computer run. Your .dll files for skype may have been damaged.

CCleaner or Combofix.

Run the program and it immediately cleans it for you... Most of the time.

I've got the same problem sometimes. Didn't figure out why yet, but normally if you restart your computer it should work again...

I've got the same problem sometimes. Didn't figure out why yet, but normally if you restart your computer it should work again...

yea thats the only thing that gets it to work cause whenever i just tried to logg out then logg back in it still didnt work

I have a possible solution.

Restart Computer in Safe Mode (F8 before windows loads)
Uninstall Skype.
Run Spam remover(CCleaner or Combofix)
When its finished, restart computer(Not Safe Mode)
Download/Reinstall Skype.

Try that.

this happened to me once , what i did is install an older version till an update came out
it worked like a charm =DD
or check if you're using the latest version , if not just install the latest

after a while a newer version came out so i installed it and the problem didn't happen again

Try and check the compatibility setting....If its set in compatibility mode then uncheck it and try to run skype...
I just googled for the solution so not sure it works...give it a try...

Have you tried turning it on an off again?

If so, reinstall.

If that's the same ccleaner

If nothing happens go to older version.

Still a problem? Well by then I would usually rage
